Beautiful restaurant. Somewhere we visit every time we are in Florence. Great decor, impeccable service, excellent wine selection and food fabulous as always.

Food and service outstanding. For our visit there was no written wine list but the two wines recommended to us were perfect. Portion sizes are good for 2-3 courses. Tables well speced and chairs comfortable. It's a bit out-of-the-way but worth the walk!

This Italian restaurant, listed in the Gambero Rosso guide, is a guarantee in itself. The atmosphere is welcoming, not touristy, but refined, and is also frequented by locals. Delicious food, with a menu that varies seasonally. Exceptional chicken livers. Very tasty cured meats. Excellent pigeon. Superb pumpkin, a must-try.
The beans are good. The wild boar was good, but the marinade distorted the flavor. Excellent wine list.

Amazing service and food! The pasta with the sun-dried tomatoes was my favorite. We ended up here on a whim around 8pm and they gave us a table even without reservations but asked if we would be done by 10pm we told them no worries that we would be. They never once rushed us and they even encouraged us to take our time when I realized it was past 10. The food was just so good! They even split the pasta into separate plates as our family of 4 wanted to share them and I do know that’s not how they do it in Italy
So that was very kind of them to do.
We had wished to go back but didn’t have luck making a reservation before we had to leave.

I went to this restaurant with two friends after a recommendation, and I really enjoyed our dinner. The food was excellent and high quality. I especially loved my choice of meat with potatoes. The restaurant itself is lovely, situated in a quiet area but still central and easy to access. The staff were very friendly, and our waiter was professional and gave great wine recommendations. I would definitely recommend this place!

This place was nice enough but compared to other places we visited in Florence, it didn’t have a wow factor. It’s not in an overly interesting location and isn’t as characterful inside as we hoped from the photos - the bare walls are attractive but the overall vibe is a little bland. It was also was very hot inside despite the air con being on and there was no music playing (albeit when we queried this, they mentioned it was an oversight). The was food was ok but again didn’t wow - in particular the octopus, although cooked perfectly, was far too garlicky / salty. However, the white wine was fabulous, which was a definite plus, and it was a nice meal overall.

This is an excellent restaurant. The food is superb, especially the fegatini and asparagus starters and the bistecca. But the star of the show is the wine: not a list but chosen from the wine fridges. An enormous selection snesibly priced, as is the food. Staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
