We found the restaurant by chance but were very pleased with it. Informal but pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Recommended.

This old Bari restaurant is near the castle. Inside, the ceilings are barrel-vaulted and the furnishings are wooden. The cuisine is traditional Bari, with a variety of appetizers and traditional first courses. Everything is excellently cooked and the portions are generous. Fast service and friendly staff are also available. The prices are truly affordable.

First, I should apologize for having the audacity to go there alone, not being Italian. I didn't feel welcome. Unfortunately, I was unlucky, and neither of the two dishes I wanted were available 😂 So I took what the waiter showed me – Orecchiette al ragù… For me, it was average and very salty. The antipasti on the next table looked inviting. All I can say is that I'm not Italian, but I'm not Italian. I'm not Italian. It's a shame I'm so lucky and I'm not happy with the food I'm eating 😂 What a shame, I've been waiting for the most – Orecchiette al ragù… For me, it's not Italian, it's not salty. Gli antipasti sul tavolo accanto sembravano invitanti.

Excellent choice. Authentic food prepared on the spot. I highly recommend the spaghetti all'assassina and the rice, potatoes, and mussels!! Divine!! Worth the trip.

L’accueil du propriétaire semble froide au premier contact. Par la suite il est plutôt amicale mais ne communique qu’en italien. Les plats de pâtes doivent être commandé en duo ce qui est contraignant. Par contre le plat de pâtes choisi « pasta Fresca alla cardinale » était bon, généreux, goûteux mais un peu trop salé. Tandis que le plat de viandes varier était très bon en particulier la saucisse. Pour dessert, deux morceaux de gâteau maison qui a notre avis, au prix de 2€, était plus que délicieux. Bref, 2 plats de pâtes, 1 plat de viandes grillé, 1 litre de vin maison et 2 morceaux de gâteau pour 46€. Très satisfait mais ne vous attendez pas à de la grande classe, juste de la bonne nourriture.

09/09/2025: Just steps from the historic center of Conversano. A welcoming place, but a bit noisy due to the close-packed tables and the stone walls. In any case, the pizza was good, and the takeout service was true to its promise, delivering within the expected time.
31/08/2025: It's always a good thing. Excellent pizza, well-leavened and well-topped with top-quality ingredients. The waiters are young and always very attentive, helpful, and quick. Good value for money.

07/11/2025: The food was very tasty; we all had pasta and everyone was happy. However, the bathroom was awful, and the service was pretty average; they didn't understand English and didn't pay attention to customers. My mom received dirty cutlery.
