On a trip from Bergamo, we found a very nice environment. For those like us who wanted to try the cuisine of the Marche region and without too many frills it was perfect. You feel at home. We had read in the reviews that you sit at a table with complete strangers and when you get up they have become friends. And it is exactly like that thanks to the shared tables and the conviviality that is established (And thanks to their good wine). Something we really appreciated. Ivan very nice and available for everything. Really good food with portions that abundantly satisfy. I recommend, go there on an empty stomach because the menu is abundant and vast, and you will come away truly satisfied. Better to book a few days in advance. If you visit Petritoli, a very very nice village you cannot miss stopping to eat there. If we return to the Marche we will definitely go back.

I came back after several years and I don't regret it because the location is the same...characteristic and welcoming. An excellent "host" made us sit with a lot of respect and sympathy. An excellent service attentive to details. The quality of the food is really very high and the abundance is homely. From the cured meats, the cooked and flavored broad beans, the scrambled eggs with mushrooms, the Marche tripe, all exquisite. Continue with the polenta made with wholemeal flour and seasoned with an excellent sauce with ribs and sausage that remains sweet thanks to the tomato used (not acidic). Not to mention the veal shank that is cut directly at the table accompanied by baked potatoes. The grand finale is a maritozzo with Nutella and an excellent mistra that helps the digestion of all that poop. I don't forget to mention the red wine that is not too full-bodied and goes well with the dishes. Congratulations for your Marche excellence! We will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.

Classic dishes executed with mastery, local products, good wine, excellent service and fabulous atmosphere...you eat a lot, but VERY well, absolutely competitive price

We ate very well, and to say abundant is an understatement. I would say very high quality-price ratio. The owner is very friendly and professional, as is the rest of the staff. An excellent place in a wonderful village.

Pleasant discovery. We stumbled upon this tavern at breakneck speed, calling 5 minutes before actually sitting down. Luckily for us, a table became available at the last minute, shared if we don't mind. It was also a pleasure to share dinner with strangers, who by the end of the evening were friends. We didn't expect anything because we hadn't had time to find out. Not knowing the menu or the cost, we were right at the mercy of the innkeeper. We wanted to eat typical Marche food and so we did. Rustic atmosphere but one that feels like home. Genuine foods. I also leave the surprise of the menu to you. Staff and owner helpful and jovial. We will definitely return if we are passing through.
