Hygiene is not on the great level, but food is great

Stunning environment, gorgeous place and very good food.

Osteria delle Coppelle is located near Parioli, a very popular and well-known area. I was looking for a good Carbonara and let's say I found it! If it hadn't been for too much cheese it would have been perfect! The cream was well made, the bacon was very crunchy and the dish was plentiful. In short, I recommend trying it! I didn't like the cacio e pepe, however, there was too much pepper and cheese, ok cacio e pepe, but even less, too much is too much! Anyway, good, but heavy. Too heavy. And finally a sweet treat: I tried a tart with cream and berries, the base of the tart was crunchy and crumbly, worthy of note, the cream was good but too cold. Bill: salty! It's not cheap, compared to other taverns it was quite expensive. The place is nice, it feels like being in Paris, it doesn't have the air of a typical Roman tavern, open kitchen and super welcoming. Next time?

5 días en Roma y aquí hicimos nuestra mejor comida, la tripa (callos) … impresionante!, pero los espaguetis carbonara con trufa me volaron la cabeza, buenos no, lo siguiente. La carne también muy rica, y el tiramisú de postre delicioso. Precio más que correcto y personal muy amable y servicial, el señor con bigote estilo “Salvador Dalí”, un crack. Recomiendo 100%.

Mi è sempre piaciuto questo ristorante. Il posto è carino e il personale molto gentile ma questa volta la qualità delle pietanze scelte non è stata all’altezza dei prezzi non proprio bassi. Ci ritornerò e darò un’altra possibilità me va ripristinato il giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo.
