Dinner with friends after the theater.
We were satisfied with the dishes, both in terms of flavor and quantity. In my opinion, the tonnarelli cacio e pepe were worth it; perhaps a little too peppery, but there was a pepper shaker on the table (unfortunately, no pepper mill).
We didn't try the desserts.
The restaurant is intimate and well-decorated. The only flaw is the wooden benches, which become uncomfortable after a while; we would suggest cushions.
Reserving through TheFork is very convenient.

Lorenzo, the waiter, welcomed us with kindness and professionalism. We ate very well. Traditional dishes were well executed. Everyone was great. Highly recommended.

Overall we ate well, generous portions and fair price. They should limit the salt, both the pasta and the meat were very salty.

I have been to this restaurant many times, it seems to have changed management because all the staff has changed in 6 months and the coda alla vaccinara which was their strong point has nothing to do with their classic recipe (less dense and tasty sauce, much less meat, without the classic Cacao which they dusted on the plate)

Tried for lunch on Sunday for the first time. Super positive experience! The dishes were all excellent and plentiful. The service was fast and attentive, among other things the girls were very nice and pleasant.
The only small negative note is the possibility of smoking in the outdoor area, which for a non-smoker is a bit unpleasant to eat with the smoke of the Marlboro next to you.
In any case I will return and recommend it!
We tried panzanella romana, provola in carrozza, carbonara and another pasta with mint and pecorino. I must say that we did not drink wine or beer or coffee and perhaps also for this reason we spent little, but for the quality of the dishes eaten the bill was definitely below the average for Milan!

Great experience in this corner of Rome in the Isola area. Delicious carbonara, amatriciana idem, artichokes alla romana, excellent.

I often stop by during my lunch break and always order the same thing, a carbonara and a glass of red.
The pasta takes you to Rome, FABULOUS.
The atmosphere is friendly, the price is a bit high, but it's worth it in my opinion.
The location has the parking problem, but we are in the Isola area, it's normal.
Recommended without ifs or buts.

Purtroppo l’ho trovato peggiorato. Carciofi fritti non male ma la provola alla piastra mancava di quella bella crosticina croccante che fa la differenza. I primi sono stati la delusione più grande: amatriciana insipida con bucatini scotti e nessunissimo “mordente” così come vorrebbe la vera tradizione romana. Carbonara asciutta e, anche qui, poco saporita. Per loro fortuna c’è ancora Lorenzo che con la sua gentilezza e simpatia non ci ha fatto rimpiangere la scelta di cenare qui, però non è assolutamente abbastanza. Mi permetto di suggerire un cambio di personale in cucina, al momento ci sono due ragazzi stranieri che sicuramente non hanno mai assaggiato la cucina romana. Però tenetevi stretto Lorenzo!
