Osteria delle Commari In Milano

Overall, an okay experience. We thought we'd found a good Italian restaurant, but the pasta was too salty, especially the carbonara. The staff also didn't give us spoons for the spaghetti.

Perfect lunch! Very kind and polite waiters. Fast service, and everything was delicious. Congratulations!

Not disastrous, but disappointing. I've tried many Roman restaurants in Milan, but this one didn't satisfy me for the following reasons: Let's start with the food, the most important part: the cacio e pepe, which tastes decidedly too soft and delicate compared to what you'd expect from a cacio e pepe. Other typical pasta dishes come with guanciale (cured pork cheek) only as a topping, so while tasty, it's tough and disconnected from the rest of the dish. Finally, the desserts are mostly frozen, and looking at them from the refrigerator (in the middle of the room) they weren't very inviting. Let's move on to the rest. Many of the tables inside have beautiful antique benches, but they're definitely too close together. The staff immediately became excessively annoyed that we were slightly moving the bench at the (empty) table next to ours to sit down. Overall, the service was quick but not very friendly, sometimes surly for no apparent reason. Finally, I'd like to imagine it was an unlucky day, but during lunch, the power kept going out, which made the experience less pleasant for us customers and made the staff even more nervous. As mentioned, not terrible, but not up to par and with a lot to fix given the strong competition in the city.

Decent food, good service, so-so bill

Excellent Roman cuisine at Milanese prices, but the service is a bit slow despite the limited number of tables.

Incredibly good osteria. We were starving, and they definitely fed us with delicious appetizers, Supplì and Scamorza in carrozza, and succulent first courses, Pasta alla Gricia and Carbonara! The atmosphere is truly cozy, and the service makes it truly homey and welcoming. Lorenzo was our guide, and his kindness accompanied and entertained us until the bittersweet finale.

Typical Roman cuisine, very good first courses, attentive and friendly service!

After a long day we had been to Osteria delle commari.. we ordered the shrimp pasta as muscles were not available, ravioli and some fried balls.. the food tasted great my only negative would be that being a shrimp pasta dish the shrimp should have been more than just 4 that I found in mine... hope this is taken note of and improved.
