Mentre gironzolavo per il centro cercando un posto dove cenare mi sono fermato qui, attratto dallo stile del ristorante. Entro e mi accoglie un cameriere gentilissimo (personale squisito, tutti giovani ma molto professionali). Stile del ristorante molto intimo, perfetto per una cena romantica. Presente la classica "finestrella" per passare il vino alla clientela fuori dal ristorante. Ho ordinato dei Pici cacio e pepe ed un tiramisù (avevo esagerato con la carne a pranzo altrimenti l'avrei ordinata, c'è una buona offerta nel menù). La pasta ottima, ben condita e ben cotta, il tiramisù molto buono. Ci ritornerò sicuramente, mi è piaciuto molto l'ambiente e l'accoglienza.

Es gab zwei Gründe herzukommen...das touristische Motiv war das "Weinfensterchen", das zweite war die "Pappa al pomodoro", wie ich sie noch von meinem Praktikum in der Toskana kannte. Sehr sehr schönes Lokal, sehr aufmerksamer Service. Sehr feines typisch toskanisches Essen. Sehr empfehlenswert. Man fühlt sich wohl. Auch sehr freundlich zu unseren Kindern (ich habe gefragt, ob es ok sei, wenn die Kinder nur einen Primo essen...er meinte: "jemandem ein Essen zu verweigern, ginge gar nicht")

This window seemed a bit commercialized and lost it's authentic novelty of a 16th century window. The cocktail was....okay. Service was brusk. It was pouring rain and the restaurant was for food only. I think had they allowed people to sit, they may have ordered light snacks to accompany their beverage. The establishment also posted signs that it was illegal to stand in the streets to drink. This experience felt like the proprietors are telling us"Dear Tourists - Here's a window we dressed up with flowers for your 'gram. And if you get caught drinking in the streets, that's🤌🏼on 🤌🏼you🤌🏼"🤷🏻‍♀️

23/11/2024: The pizza by the slice is very good, the new owner is the son of the gentleman who ran it for 30 years and still churns out pizzas, both very kind, fast, friendly and punctual. I recommend it!!

01/01/2025: Small but very welcoming place just outside the centre, very kind and professional waiters, we were served very quickly considering the people in the place, we had two devastating beef ribs, with a bit of roast potatoes and spinach they were truly delicious, not to mention talk about the truly excellent final tiramisu, congratulations to the chefs and staff!! Dajeeee
01/01/2025: The best restaurant I have visited so far! The service staff was not only super friendly but also worked quickly. We had our food at the table very quickly. I definitely recommend the “Costata di manzo” with spinach and potatoes as a side dish, but the souffle and tiramisu are also highly recommended. Everything was incredibly well prepared!
