After a lovely stroll through Rigolo Chiesa, searching for chestnuts to celebrate autumn, on the way home we stopped at Trattoria dell'Ago. A family-run establishment, run with simplicity. The impeccable cured meats and cheeses are a must-try; followed by a plate of tortelli, with a choice of flavors, all accompanied by Gutturnio and Ortrugo. See you soon!

Under new management for a couple of years now, stellar appetizers, first courses as well, good main courses, and superb desserts. Very friendly and helpful service. Excellent experience.

A wonderful experience, the first courses were delicious, and the lemon tortelli were excellent. Prices were more than fair. Service was fast, friendly, and professional. My only complaint is that the restaurant's redesign has meant it has lost some of its unique character.

A little corner of paradise on the Piacenza hills, home cooking with a well-curated choice of both dishes and clearly local and fresh ingredients. Courtesy, hospitality and kindness are at home. A tip: ask for the sweet and sour courgettes: out of this world!!!

30/10/2025: Various cured meats as an appetizer, including salami, coppa, pancetta, culatello, and prosciutto crudo. What can I say... in the Nure Valley, you're never disappointed... for our first course, we tried the excellent tagliolini with mushrooms. Very good... Attentive and friendly service. Excellent value.
