The simple, authentic dishes are of the highest quality, and it has nothing to envy of Michelin-starred restaurants. The staff is very professional and helpful, and they are up to the task. This is my ideal restaurant: classic dishes done really well, a laid-back atmosphere with character, knowledgeable staff, and great wine recommendations. This place has it all. Whenever we’re in the area, we always try to come here. The owner is full of life and pours all his enthusiasm into the food. Much of it comes from his own garden and local producers. Enjoy!

Categoria: Ristorante Italiano Trovato per: Guida Slow Food Situato in un anonimo incrocio di un altrettanto anonimo paese tra Bergamo e Brescia, il locale spicca invece, sia dall’insegna all’esterno sia all’interno - i tavoli di legno, il massiccio bancone - per il suo fascino molto retrò. A conduzione familiare, il servizio è informale e gentile. Quando ci ero stato la prima volta, ma potrei ricordare male, aveva anche la chiocciola della guida Slow Food. I piatti proposti non sono molti, ma sono garanzia di tradizione e qualità delle materie prime. Eccezionali gli gnocchi di patate burro e salvia, non da meno l’orzotto con pomodori, fagliolini e basilico e grana; molto buoni anche il manzo all’olio con polenta bianca e il vitello tonnato. Un po’ insignificante la lasagna. La carta dei vini è relativamente ampia con proposte principalmente regionali (ad esempio dalla vicina Franciacorta) e nazionali, anche se non ha particolari spunti, la ricordavo più interessante in una mia precedente visita di qualche anno fa. Conto consono a quanto offerto, in conclusione una sempre piacevole sosta se ci si trova a passare in quella zona.

sono stata in questo ristorante per sentito dire molto buono e devo dire che come qualità non ha deluso le mie aspettative, niente di eccezionale ma tutto sommato buono, purtroppo le porzioni sono piccole e il costo per quello che offre è un pò alto.
