Osteria Della Triglia In Genova

It's been about three years since I've been able to organize a dinner, even though I live in the buildings across the street. This place is a true culinary delight. The interior and exterior have been perfectly renovated, making the space even more welcoming with an elegant yet deeply local atmosphere. I've found the food to have improved even further; the ingredients are always fresh and well-prepared, the portions are generous, and the price, in my opinion, is in line with the quality of the products. They also offer an interesting mushroom menu. A special mention for the fondue and truffle plin and the tuna steak with mushrooms are memorable. Excellent selection of wines, including local ones, which are hard to find in restaurants in the Genoa area. The staff is attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended.

Excellent dishes and excellent service

This tavern offers a decent menu, with top-notch quality in terms of ingredients and dishes. In addition to the set menu, you can often find interesting off-menu options. Beyond what the name suggests—fish dishes—there are also some typical Ligurian and meat dishes. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Depending on your arrival time, parking may not be the most convenient.

Very good pesto, superb potato ravioli with seafood, excellent calamarata, perfectly cooked seared tuna. The only flaw (in my opinion) is the fried food is a bit too dry. The staff is friendly, very kind, and very professional. The service is a bit slow, but the atmosphere is very pleasant, and you can easily wait and chat pleasantly without the noisy din that can be annoying in many restaurants. A great place to enjoy excellent slow food. Definitely worth returning.

Recommended restaurant for eating good fish dishes

I complimented the chef directly, he is the best thing, the dishes from the starter to the dessert were all excellent.

Genoa is a seaside city, so it's easy to find restaurants that serve good seafood. Well, that's not the case. We've been looking for restaurants offering fresh, quality seafood for years, and we're finally finding it: Osteria della Triglia offers incredibly fresh fish, generous portions, and carefully prepared. We managed to find Santa Margherita prawns, which are exclusively eaten raw...a delicacy. Another must-try is "il galleone": a huge seafood soup, best shared because it's truly a treat.
