A restaurant where you'll never want to leave. The food is divine!

I dined on a warm August evening at Osteria della Torre in Castel Ritaldi and was simply blown away. Their half-meter-long plate of bruschetta was a spectacle: all truly exceptional, with my favorites being the tartare and truffle bruschettas, both of which stood out for their intensity and quality. The onion bruschetta even won me over, which is saying a lot, considering I usually avoid them! The licorice-flavored tagliata was another surprise: tender, flavorful, and with a truly memorable innovative touch. The cuisine blends Umbrian tradition with creative nuances, as many guests confirm, raving about the highest-quality local ingredients and original dishes. The portions are generous and perfectly balanced. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, a characteristic often mentioned in the family-run restaurant. The location, with outdoor seating overlooking the castle, is truly evocative; at the same time, the refined interior exudes character and authentic attention to detail. I'll definitely be back: I can't wait to try the other dishes, which I already know will live up to this experience. Highly recommended!

Five stars aren't enough for the quality and friendliness of the owners. Attention to detail, impeccable food, service, and ambiance. The bruschetta served on a scenic platter and the Chianina beef with licorice are superb.

A unique and fantastic place, a little gem we found at the last minute. We arrived relatively late from Florence, four of my friends and I, and were warmly welcomed. The food was spectacular, well-made and homemade; compliments to the chef! I was also surprised by the price; we had everything: appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, and grappa; it was very cheap. I recommend everyone stop by if you're passing through.

The outside setting was beautiful, the service was quick, the food was delicious, and the skewer plating was very original and beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The host's strangozzi, which are Spoleto-style, were delicious. A fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back to try the other dishes.

I was there last night with a friend of mine. The location is enchanting, I recommend taking a tour of the small village in the castle. The restaurant is very well-kept, it also has an outdoor space overlooking the castle. We tried the famous bruschetta, very tasty. I continued with the gnocchetti al sagrantino served on the bottle, very tasty and with a pleasant sweet aftertaste. The lady who served us was very friendly and sociable. I highly recommend it!

Excellent food with a good quality/price ratio, prepared with care and with authentic flavours

Siamo stati al Ristorante La Torre e ne siamo rimasti entusiasti! La location è suggestiva e curata, con una vista sulla bellissima Torre di Castel San Giovanni, che rende l’atmosfera davvero magica. Il menù è un perfetto equilibrio tra tradizione e creatività: ogni piatto è preparato con ingredienti di altissima qualità e presentato con grande eleganza. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato i primi fatti in casa e la selezione di carni locali, tenerissime e saporite. Ottimi anche i vini, scelti con competenza e proposti in abbinamento ideale. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: personale gentile, attento e professionale, capace di farci sentire coccolati dall’inizio alla fine. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca un ristorante raffinato ma autentico, dove ogni dettaglio è curato e ogni sapore racconta il territorio. Consigliatissimo!

Abbiamo preso come antipasto due gusti di bruschette (molto buone, in particolare il pane), come primi gli gnocchetti allo speck e sagrantino e la zuppa di cipolle di cannara e infine lo spiedone di maiale.
