We had lunch today...beautiful, clean location. Very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive staff. Extensive menu. The dishes are carefully prepared, with excellent quality ingredients and a fair price/quality ratio. It's best to book. Highly recommended!!!

Simple, clean place. It offers traditional, authentic dishes. The handmade pasta is especially noteworthy (it's amazing).

We stumbled upon this Osteria by chance while visiting the Labante Caves. It's undoubtedly the best restaurant I've ever eaten at. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert, all the food was fresh and local. The waiters and staff were very kind and friendly, always ready with a joke. We'll definitely be back. I recommend it to everyone. Good prices for the quality of the food.

Last Sunday, after visiting Rocchetta Mattei, we stopped here for lunch. The place is very well-maintained; the owner came to take our order and was very thorough in presenting the dishes and offering recommendations. You can immediately tell the dishes are homemade, and the accompanying mushrooms are fantastic. We each ordered a first course, a second course, and a dessert, plus a bottle of wine, and paid €40 each, a fair price considering the quality of the products. Highly recommended. Special mention goes to the owner, who is very friendly and happy to stop for a chat at the table.

It was a pleasant discovery. The food was truly delicious. The quality of the ingredients was evident in all the exquisitely prepared and homemade dishes. Another positive note was the always courteous, smiling, and helpful wait staff, and even though two of our colleagues were sick, the wait was short. The bill was also very good: 2 chestnut flour sweets with sausage and leeks, 1 venison steak with blueberries 1 suckling pig 1 capocollo with balsamic vinegar and parmesan 3 homemade desserts 3 waters and 1/2 liter of house wine, an excellent cabernet 4 coffees Total €120

Local excellence and authentic flavors After a morning visit to Rocchetta Mattei, we stopped at this osteria for lunch, and SURPRISE!!!! Osteria della Rocca in Rocca Pitigliana is a true gem for those who love authentic cuisine. The restaurant is very clean and tidy, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is very friendly and attentive, but a word of advice: reservations are absolutely essential to secure a table! The quality of the ingredients is excellent. We tried the ricotta and truffle tortellini with black truffle sauce: the ricotta, sourced from their farm, has that authentic, old-fashioned flavor that is so rare these days. The tagliolini carbonara with black truffle was mouth-watering, and the green tagliatelle with ragù was simply perfect, a true return to tradition. The second courses are also top-notch: the tagliata al sale e rosarino (excellent meat from their farm) and the stewed wild boar with tigelle were exquisite, accompanied by delicious baked potatoes. To top it off, the desserts are unmissable: the mascarpone and Nutella cake is excellent, and the fior di latte gelato with chocolate chips or cherries in alcohol is exceptional. You can taste the full flavor of the mountain cows' milk. A 5-star experience in every way. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

I highly recommend this osteria. The prices are truly excellent. And the food is truly delicious. They manage orders and the dining room well, even when the tables are full. Excellent quality local products. Delicious porcini mushrooms and prime meat. Some waitresses are very good and friendly at managing everything, even with the chaos of other diners, others are not. I saw the brunette waitress with bangs snort at two older men next to our table more than once because she had to clear the table and they wouldn't get up. In fact, they hadn't even finished their lunch. I hope I never see a scene like that again.

Very pleasant place and good food. The staff is very kind and helpful, we felt truly welcomed. The only recommendation is to indicate on the menu that the black truffle crostini contain meat, because it's not immediately obvious. The photo is of the dessert, truly excellent!
