A good restaurant near Bologna, just steps from the parish church from which it takes its name. Ample parking, and open for both lunch and dinner. The restaurant has both ground and first floors. The dishes are Emilian cuisine with a few outside-the-region excursions. Everything is good, as you'd expect from an Emilian restaurant. The service is efficient: upstairs, the waiters use the elevator (the kitchen is on the ground floor) and a trolley to serve and clear the dishes. The bill is in the "fair/high" range. Local and business clientele.

Impeccable service. Excellent first courses, as were the crescentine and cured meats. The tagliata, however, was a bit overcooked and tough. Otherwise, a great place. Prices are a bit above average. Ample parking available.

Well-prepared traditional dishes, made with excellent ingredients. They also offer off-menu options, but mine (turbot with potatoes) wasn't exceptional. Prices are a bit above average.

We happened upon it by chance, but the kind hospitality of Mrs. Irene and the excellent food of this "warm and familiar" Osteria... I can only give it 4 super deserved stars. Thanks for the evening, recommended.

A very spacious place and sensational food. Large portions and a super nice staff who helped us with some advice (especially on the wine side where both the red and white were very appreciated by friends). There is quite a spacious parking lot at the place, somewhere around 15-20 spaces I would say. You will be greeted by the staff with a basket of bakery products (homemade bread and some thicker sticks/breadcrumbs) and at the end you will be served with something sweet even though you did not order dessert.

Trattoria del Gallo

18/11/2025: This historic trattoria, located on the main road to Ferrara, has a reputation for consistently maintaining high quality standards. The restaurant is welcoming, but the space isn't very large, so the noise level quickly increases, but that's the only flaw! Fast service and extremely friendly waiters, absolutely excellent food, from the starters to the main courses (try the rosemary steak), and finally the desserts. Good value for money, in line with the quality of the food and service.
18/11/2025: Table for 6 people on a Saturday night booked on a Thursday, great flexibility. Ample quantity and excellent quality, though the tagliata was a bit pricey considering it weighs 150-180g. Excellent restaurant and excellent service, we'll definitely be back. Really good value for money.
