We were told that some dishes were prepared by the chef of the Santa Elisabetta restaurant, which boasts two Michelin stars. I don't know if this is common practice or if we were just lucky. The service was excellent despite our limited Italian, and the decor and ambiance were lovely. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the flavors evoked emotions and memories.

12/01/2025: Un posto autentico e accogliente, perfetto per chi desidera assaporare i veri sapori della tradizione toscana. La ribollita è assolutamente imperdibile: un piatto ricco, genuino. Lo staff è simpatico, gentile e sempre pronto a far sentire i clienti a proprio agio, aggiungendo un tocco di calore all’esperienza. Unico neo: nel 2025 è davvero sorprendente che non vengano accettate carte di credito. Un dettaglio che potrebbe migliorare l’esperienza complessiva. Detto questo, rimane una tappa consigliatissima per un pasto toscano autentico nel cuore di Firenze.

14/12/2025: A quiet lunch. Nice and cozy, we ate lunch in the little hut outside. Everything was good!
14/11/2025: We crossed paths with this cafe when vacationing in Florence and they were amazing! The best cappuccino, food and pastries! The service also (though a bit difficult for us being Americans) they were able to communicate quite well in English or Spanish! The atmosphere is tranquil and the restaurant is very clean and beautiful inside. My husband and I loved it very much.
