Fantastic food and service. We had the pasta with the octopus and the pasta with the beef stew. Both were amazing! The baba and tiramisu are an absolute must! The service team were very nice! Reccomend to reserve place beforehand.

I'm from Naples, and for me, this is, without exaggeration, the best trattoria in the city. The genovese is out of this world, and the pasta e patate is simply off the charts (infinitely better than many other, much more hyped, options). I've read several reviews complaining about the staff's rudeness, but every time I've been there, I've always been treated with kindness, friendliness, and, above all, politeness. The only thing to be careful about is that they are very strict about their timetable, so if you're more than 10 minutes late, you risk not getting a table. It should be noted, however, that this is a detail they specify right away when you book, so you just have to plan ahead. If you know you won't be able to keep the agreed-upon time, simply go elsewhere.

It's an excellent restaurant. We were looking for some good spaghetti puttanesca and ended up here thanks to a Google recommendation—and what a recommendation it was!! ❤️ We left absolutely delighted. The pasta was incredible, and not only that, the lasagna and tiramisu were too. Besides the delicious food, the service was excellent. We will always recommend it.

What a delicious meal and what a wonderful time we had at Osteria Della Mattonella! We went one lunchtime on the recommendation of someone from Naples… we went back again because we had such a great time.

Excellent osteria! Truly good food, carefully prepared and tasty. The staff is welcoming, kind, and always available. The atmosphere is warm and pleasant. I will definitely be back!

Six of us friends went without a reservation, and luckily, they made room for us. From the moment we walked in, the place had that authentic charm you look for when you're in Naples: walls covered in old photos, tiles, wooden tables and benches… everything very traditional and full of character. The wine is served in a ceramic jug, which immediately immerses you in the experience. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly. They created a very homey atmosphere. The food… amazing. The eggplant parmigiana was incredible; it melted in your mouth and had an amazing flavor. And the spaghetti alla puttanesca… wow, that tomato sauce is going to stay with me for a long time. We were tempted to try the desserts, but we were completely stuffed. Without a doubt, the best place I ate all weekend. I would go back in a heartbeat.

We didn’t take any pics because we ate everything! Truly the fired anchovies, chicory, meatballs, pasta with ragu or alla sorrentina and tiramisu. It was friendly and we somehow got lucky with a table one Monday evening.

Great experience! We went back and were once again satisfied! The food is very good, the dishes are plentiful and tasty, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff is also really friendly. I recommend booking!
