Spectacular! Every dish was a very positive experience, and the service was excellent.

Perhaps I should apologize for not appreciating the food as much, given how crowded the place regularly is. But for my taste buds, it wasn't an unforgettable evening.

If UNESCO only had a list of businesses to preserve, I'd nominate this place for inclusion right away. Pavesi, hold on to this landmark!

Excellent food, served just the right amount (more on the generous side), and fast and efficient service (the waiter guessed the dessert I wanted). A very quaint and intimate place. Located on the river.

We shared a traditional appetizer and a risotto with pumpkin and Castelmagno cheese, which was truly excellent. Recommendation

Interesting menu of Pavia cuisine

The restaurant enjoys a picturesque location along the Ticino River. It has wooden beams and, in my opinion, a certain charm, partly due to its decor. The food is good, with generous portions. We had basil flan and vegetable flan, lard, tagliatelle with duck ragù and linguine with bottarga, veal with tuna sauce (very good), and crispy octopus (not cooked perfectly) on mashed potatoes and ginger (which you couldn't taste). For dessert, we had classic tiramisu, peach tiramisu, and meringue ice cream. The desserts were very good. Prices were fair. The service could be improved, as it was very inattentive; you often felt like you were bothering someone. A few more words or a smile wouldn't hurt.

Premetto che son stato in questo locale più volte. Sul cibo c’è poco da dire, di qualità e molto fresco, in particolare i salumi d’oca davvero deliziosi, i risotti molto buoni anche se un po’ avanti di cottura, il resto dei primi buoni ma non eccezionali (a mio gusto), i secondi son vari e i 3/4 che ho assaggiato nelle varie occasioni son veramente ben fatti, i dolci son passabili. Il ragazzo giovane che serve ai tavoli è sempre molto cordiale e veloce, marito e moglie che sembrano i proprietari san sicuramente gestire bene il locale e avvalersi di un buon staff in cucina ma sembra che gli fai un favore ad andarci, abbastanza antipatici.

Scoperto per caso in occasione della visita a Pavia. Nel quartiere Borgo Ticino, a 2 passi dal ponte coperto situato in una piccola viuzza nascosta. Ambiente davvero piacevole, come una vecchia osteria deve essere. Personale cordiale e preparato. Il menù presenta diverse portate tipiche della zona. Ogni piatto ordinato è stata una vera sorpresa, tutto gustoso e presentato con cura. Menzione particolare al prosciutto d'oca. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e tutti i secondi hanno il contorno, quindi consiglio di condividere e assaggiare più cose. Anche il prezzo è competitivo... Forse una delle osterie più apprezzate degli ultimi tempi. Non da trascurare il parcheggio privato che vi permette dopo pranzo di lasciare l'auto e scoprire Pavia a piedi...
