We dined at this restaurant during the San Baudolino Fair. The house antipasto was very good, and the first courses were rabaton and agnolotti del plin, both excellent. It's a shame the broth was tasteless. The place is very clean and well-maintained. The cheese trolley has a wide selection, well done.

Lunch with friends who had been here before... a lovely, well-maintained place, adequate portions, and a fair price for the food... After the entrees, the waiter even loosened up and was quite friendly and joking.
Recommended, even though it's out of the way from Asti, I think we'll be back!

Unsatisfactory experience for the mid-August lunch
I had excellent memories of this place in the past and hadn't been there for a few years. I don't think I'll return because I was very disappointed.
Starting with the portions,
which you can clearly see in the photo (note the size of the fork! It looks gigantic compared to the plates).
Then the service, starting with the fact that it took a long time from ordering to serving the appetizer.
With other people, they were much more attentive.
They asked me how I had enjoyed my stay, and I clearly expressed that I wasn't particularly satisfied and the reasons for my dissatisfaction.
At checkout, I expected at least a smile or a vague gesture of kindness, but instead they simply took my money absentmindedly.
The kind waiter then politely said goodbye (but that's unlikely.
And to think he had fond memories of the rabatons, and the cheeses were tempting.)
A special mention goes to the breadsticks.
The live music was excellent, at least at the beginning (at the end, well... better not to comment).
I expected each appetizer to be served individually.
Instead, a small plate arrived with a handful of tasteless mini-shrimp with a sauce I didn't like.
The stuffed squid was good but a finger food (a bite).

Then came a giant plate of pennette with salmon (see photo).
A long conversation with the AI helped me get through the evening. I showed her the photos, and she also commented on the fillet, which had little Mediterranean flavor: diced potatoes, little tomato, olives, and the skin underneath, an unpleasant flavor.
The dessert was even more disappointing.
(I rarely didn't finish it.)
The wine was good.
Chair Not very comfortable
It's sad when you remember having eaten excellently and then on a holiday you find what you can observe.
