I haven't tried many restaurants in Alessandria, but this one has to be among the best!!! I've been coming here for several years, and the food is always delicious. The welcome is attentive and friendly, without being overly friendly, and it was impossible to get a bill without details. I tried the eggplant Parmesan: it was delicious, and the vitello tonato, a typical Piedmontese dish. For me, it was a real treat. I came back two days later and had more! The five-course starter is also very good. For dessert, the strawberries, either plain or with sugar and lemon juice, are quite tasty. Everything is fresh, and it shows (and tastes). In short, a restaurant worth the detour. A beautiful terrace, well away from the noise, adds to the appeal of the place.

A place in the center of Alessandria, well-kept environment, dishes and impeccable service. Traditional Piedmontese dishes with good reinterpretations, good selection of local wines. Fair and fully justified prices. I recommend and definitely go back.

Lunch break. Very nice place and impeccable service. Traditional menu and not only, varied and all the dishes are tempting. Spectacular cheese trolleys. Worth another visit in the cool to be able to savor them at their best. Compliments

I took the menu for 38 euros with 5 appetizers, a first course, a second course, a dessert, water and half a liter of wine. All courses to choose from 2 options. Well presented and tasty.

Come al solito, leggere alcune recensioni mi fa pensare che il mondo è bello perché vario. Locale pulito e caldo. La cameriera in dolce attesa attenta e cordiale. Antipasto con 5 portate veramente ben eseguito e gli agnolotti veramente eccezionali. Conto assolutamente corretto, anzi... Da aggiungere che abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con un antipasto, immediatamente risolto con attenzione e professionalità. Ultima cosa, siamo arrivati al ristorante x caso... quando si dice la fortuna. Bravi

Peccato averci dovuto cenare in fretta a causa di un impegno successivo - e per colpa del solito treno in ritardo di un'ora e coincidenza saltata. Quello che ho potuto gustare mi basta però per condividere il parere degli amici che mi ci hanno invitato. Se il primo di cucina locale - di cui non ricordo il nome, ma che si presenta come un morbido impasto di verdura cotta e formaggio, molto simile a quelle che nella mia famiglia si chiamavano, ai tempi in cui abitavamo a Milano, palline verdi - era buono, il plateau di formaggi di tipo francese (ma prodotti in Piemonte) che lo hanno seguito rientra nella categoria dello straordinario. Accompagnati da piccole dosi di ben scelte mostarde e marmellate e presentati a dovere da chi li ha serviti, i 7-8 assaggi hanno via via svelato sapori intensi e deliziosi, diversi ma ottimamente combinabili. Non avrei potuto chiedere di meglio. Se avessi avuto il tempo di degustare anche un dolce, forse il mio giudizio sarebbe potuto salire all'eccellenza. Chissà. In ogni caso, ho avuto un'esperienza a sufficienza per consigliare senza riserve questa osteria.
