We spent a week in the village of Chialvetta, and managing to have dinner at the osteria was mission impossible. That alone doesn't need any further explanation. We still managed to have lunch: polenta and venison, and not everyone asks at the end of the meal, "Would you like more?" Not to be missed(!)

My husband and I went here for lunch today! The welcome was wonderful! The place is clean and very cute. We had wonderful polenta and an excellent dessert! Well done! We'll be back! You immediately sense their desire to do their job well.

22/09/2025: What can I say... excellent traditional Piedmontese cuisine with top-quality ingredients prepared with care and passion. Attentive and friendly service made us feel right at home, and an excellent wine selection with a wide selection of local wines. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Bra!
21/09/2025: We enjoyed a perfect lunch at Battaglino dal 1919 today. The food clearly expressed the traditional methods but did so in a sophisticated manner with careful presentation and nuanced flavours. The wine by the glass was excellent in both quality and value. Desserts were also exceptional and the service friendly and generous.
