The waiter in the dining room was very friendly, smiling, and polite. The service, however, could be improved. The same goes for the first courses. The sauce wasn't bad, but the pasta itself definitely needs work, especially in terms of cooking and preparation.

We were greeted with warmth and courtesy.
After a house appetizer, we had a delicious Florentine steak, cooked rare, just the way I like it! The meat was very well aged and flavorful, so much so that I'd make it again! Highly recommended, especially for the price.

A very pleasant discovery.
We were there last night and everything was delicious. So much so that we went back for lunch. The food was excellent, we ate like at home.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food arrived quickly.

An osteria, as the name suggests... every osteria has an innkeeper, and here the innkeeper is top-notch, capable of entertaining with witty banter and understanding the customer's needs and desires. The steak is exceptional, tender and flavorful, cooked over charcoal. The side potatoes are delicious. The house Chianti pairs perfectly with the bruschetta, which I wanted to order as toasted bread, and which I want to season with whatever I want. And they did it. What more could you want from an osteria? For the innkeeper to recommend a Maremma pecorino! This is the joy of taste, far removed from fashion, from the trendy restaurant (which this is not), beyond the mediocre and sad anonymity of today's bland, samey restaurants!
