Excellent food, traditional products revisited with taste and imagination... very friendly and professional owner... thanks until next time

In the beautiful historic center of Mormanno, opposite the majestic baroque facade of the mother church of S. Maria al Colle, is the restaurant. Traditions and genuine foods with authentic and typical ingredients of the Pollino area characterize this historic place. Francesco and Catia love their work and select the raw materials rigorously and in many cases resort to direct production; a significant example was the slowfood presidium with the valorization of the exquisite "Lenticchia di Mormanno". There were 4 of us. I really appreciated the excellent "Antipasto Pollino", very rich; together with the aforementioned lentils, also local Prosciutto and local Capocollo, Cheeses and Ricotta del Pollino and much more... A special mention for the "Stewed Cod" with peppers, a true delight for the palate. To finish, a special "Bocconotto" of the house based on cocoa, walnuts and figs, finger-licking good. Conclusion: EXCELLENT quality! Not to be missed if you are in the Pollino Park.

Everything perfect. Quality food. Warm and welcoming service. "Family" atmosphere as it should be in an osteria.

Simple but well-finished environment. Very tasty dishes, between tradition and interpretation of local raw materials. Special long-leavened pizzas and a welcome attentive to the needs of each guest but very prepared on the territory. Excellent experience of taste and culture.

In the heart of Mormanno we had the pleasure of tasting the authentic flavors of Calabria, guided with passion by Catia, who not only told us the history and traditions of the local dishes, but also suggested wonderful places to visit in the surrounding area. An experience to be recommended and, without a doubt, to be repeated!

Simple but good food, limited choice. The cost is excessive compared to the offer. I wouldn't go back.

A pearl of our area. Family run, passion for cooking and local products. Very high quality/price ratio. The excellent local wines expertly described by the splendid hostess. I can't wait to go back 😋😋😋🥂

Esperienza eccezionale. Non posso che esprimere parole di apprezzamento per la competenza, la professionalità, la gentilezza del personale di questo ristorante. La signora Catia e il signor Francesco sono stati a lungo a conversare con noi, donandoci preziosi consigli ma soprattutto aprendosi a un piacevole scambio di esperienze ed opinioni. Possiamo dire di essere stati piacevolmente sorpresi. È del tutto infrequente incontrare persone così competenti, educate e disponibili. Esperienza più che eccezionale, unica. Super consigliato!!

Ottima cucina locale. Catia la proprietaria è persona simpaticissima e che dispensa consigli molto utili poi è un'ottima sommelier buon vino di produzione propria.
