If I really had to find a flaw, I'd say they closed the day after we arrived here in Normanni. They had found our favorite restaurant. Delicious food, perfect wait, super friendly staff. Catia is the perfect hostess, making you feel at home and explaining the dishes with the love that only someone who loves what they have to offer can provide. Thank you for everything. We hope to see you again soon.

As soon as you enter, the message is clear: "If you're in a hurry, this isn't the place." Patience is needed, not so much to savor their delicious food (we actually "waited as long as it takes"), but to appreciate Catia and Francesco, their passion for quality products, and their respect for the local area. This way, you'll have the chance to enjoy a true slow food experience.

Like every year, during my vacation in my hometown, I can't help but try the delicious dishes at Osteria del Vicolo. A landmark in the small village of Mormanno, returning isn't about always tasting the same dishes, but about constantly indulging in new offerings. Excellent!

Nel cuore di Mormanno abbiamo avuto il piacere di gustare i sapori autentici della Calabria, guidati con passione da Catia, che non solo ci ha raccontato la storia e le tradizioni dei piatti locali, ma ci ha anche suggerito meravigliosi luoghi da visitare nei dintorni. Un'esperienza da consigliare e, senza dubbio, da ripetere!

11/09/2025: If you're in the area and want to eat REAL Calabrian cuisine, come to this trattoria. It's a special experience, as a true Calabrian tells you. Be wary of other places; the dishes aren't typical, but VERY TYPICAL!! The welcome and the raw ingredients are worthy of the name "CALABRIA." My compliments to everyone for the service and the dishes; I felt like I was eating the same dishes at home. May God bless these places again, because they are the soul of this beautiful region. Definitely worth a try; you won't regret it. Generous portions and EXCELLENT prices. Congratulations again, from the bottom of my heart.
11/09/2025: My boyfriend and I went there this evening for a typical Calabrian dinner! The staff were incredibly kind, the food was excellent, the ingredients were top-quality, and the portions were generous. Everything was perfect! If you're in the area, try this trattoria with your eyes closed. It's like eating at your grandmother's or at home, and the REAL Calabrian dishes. My compliments, because they are fantastic in every way!
