Catia, the hostess if not fantastic sommelier, the location is warm and welcoming, you feel truly pampered, and we come to the piece de resistance, the cuisine, something of inexplicable, continuous research on the territory, care in the preparations maximizing what this generous area of ​​Calabria offers. Stopping for lunch or dinner with them is like entering a forest full of perfumes of sensations and experience where every dish is a surprise, for me it deserves a few stars. Trying is believing, for now thank you for this magnificent experience

Warm atmosphere of an Osteria from an almost lost time, but which makes you fully relive the typical local traditions and flavours. Poor bean and chicory soup... delicious, like the homemade cavatelli with meat ragout (Tagliolini and scrapings were finished, the pasta is handmade daily and all the preparations are in real time... so a little healthy and patient waiting that is worth the quality is a must). Ditto scalloped black pig from Calabria, finally cod stewed Mormannese style with pepper, we finish with buccunotti stuffed with cherry jam served with hot sweet liqueur. Very patient with our 3 children, Catia the fantastic hostess and guide in the choice of dishes and their story, origin, history, unique guide. Well done, well done, well done at renewing the tradition and goodness of Pollino, a recommended stop on the way down Mormanno or up the exit of the Campotenese motorway. Approved

Calda atmosfera di un Osteria di un tempo perduto quasi,ma che ti fanno rivivere appieno con le tradizioni ed i sapori tipici locali. Minestra fagioli poverelli e cicoria...squisita, Come i cavatelli fatti in casa con il ragout di carne (Tagliolini e raschiatelli eran finiti, la pasta viene fatta a mano giornalmente e tutte le preparazioni sono in tempo reale...quindinun po di sana e pazienta attesa che vale la qualità è d'obbligo). Idem suino nero di Calabria scaloppato, infine baccalà stufato alla mormannese con peperone, chiudiamo con i buccunotti ripieni di marmellata di ciliegia serviti con liquore dolce caldo. Molto pazienti con i ns 3 bimbi, Catia l'osteria fantastica padrona di casa e guida nella scelta dei piatti e nel loro racconto,provenienza,storia,cicerone unico. Bravi,bravi,bravi a rinnovare la tradizione e le bontà del Pollino. Approved

Catia knows how to fascinate you with stories relating to the place and the products, valorising local production and suggesting dishes with a captivating taste. A journey into the flavor of Calabria, through the kindness of an adequate presentation that respects the customer's personality. We absolutely must return.

Typical tavern, but with that touch of class that makes you feel at home and at the same time in an elite environment. Francesco and Catia are two excellent hosts, they put you at ease, while with traditional dishes and glasses of wine they take you into their culinary world accompanied by an expert explanation of everything that is offered to you. Excellent pizza! Coming back will be a pleasure!

Good quality food, good choice of Calabrian wines. Few tables with a welcoming environment. In our opinion, the lady who is passionate and competent in oenology should limit the taste-olfactory description of the wines and leave more space for the customer's sensations. An exhausting wait, which compromised the success of the evening. Dinner lasted more than two hours for an appetizer and a first course. The inconvenience could happen in the kitchen, but no one from the restaurant apologized to us or did anything to fix it.

Ottimo cibo, grande cordialità ma sopratutto una notevole selezione di vini che non ti aspetti da una piccola osteria. Abbiamo bevuto degli ottimi vini naturali.

14/02/2025: Unique. We need to invent a term to combine the welcome, kindness and love received as soon as we entered the restaurant. I needed a bouquet of flowers and it seemed as if Marco was there ready waiting for me. I ask for a bouquet of flowers and Marco turns around and LO: already ready.. I am incredulous. He offered me a coffee to relax while he arranged the flowers carefully, I gladly accepted. I still have the perfume in my nose and I still have the beauty of the flowers in my eyes. Number one, you are my first point of reference.. Thanks guys, thanks Marco
11/02/2025: A little more sought after and niche place between Cosenza and Rende. Staff and owners always very kind! Excellent coffee shop section.

15/11/2024: Heavenly place, beautiful and immaculate rooms, quality and sublime food, the pizzas of the master pizza chef are something inexplicably good, as are the dishes of the chef Fabio who puts effort into every single dish and you can see it, but above all you can feel it, not to mention the professionalism of the kind, friendly and super helpful waiters, you can deduce it from the fact that they explain the procedures and the ingredients of the dish you are going to eat. There is nothing negative because if you want to go out for a walk by the sea in about 15 minutes by car you can reach the sea, I can't wait to come back another time
03/11/2024: Abbiamo chiamato e trovato posto per caso e dunque pranzato gustando i sapori di un tempo. In particolare per l'occasione oltre all'antipasto buonissimo, abbiamo provato lagane e ceci, strepitosi. Tagliatelle ai funghi porcini eccezionali, per non parlare delle costatine di maiale che si scioglievano in bocca. Che dire , qualità e cortesia, Antonio Super. Unica pecca? Dover aspettare la riapertura in primavera, ma di certo l'attesa sarà ben ripagata. Non vediamo l'ora.
