Located in the historic center, the restaurant is nestled in the beautiful Tuscan hills. The directions are well-written in the reservation. Excellent service and interesting, diverse menu choices. The drinks menu is varied and offers many pairings. We also appreciated the alcohol-free cocktail options for those who don't drink. I can't speak for the accommodations, having only booked the restaurant for a romantic evening, which I must say was a complete success. Suitable for those already accustomed to plant-based cuisine, but also for those who truly want to explore the potential and flavor of combining cruelty-free ingredients. The price may be a bit high, especially if you opt for the various alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, but in my opinion, it's commensurate with the quality of the cuisine.

Beautiful Palazzo delle Belle Arti. Clean and comfortable rooms (no air conditioning or TV). Strategic location for those who want to stay in Certaldo and the surrounding area; otherwise, it's isolated. During the low season, everything in historic Certaldo is closed. However, this is the best time for those seeking relaxation. The owners are very kind and hospitable.

We were guests at the Osteria for Christmas lunch. Everything was simply perfect, every dish was prepared down to the smallest detail. It's an experience you shouldn't miss when you're in Certaldo. Even though we had three little dogs, they were treated like queens, with a blanket, water, and biscuits.

Osteria del Vicario is a magical place, run just as magically by the host, who accompanied us throughout our stay. We also attended dinner, and it was a truly delightful experience that I would definitely do again. The atmosphere was unforgettable. My compliments to the chef again.

I really enjoyed our visit, it is a fully vegan establishment and, although I'm not vegan myself, I was happy to 'give it a go', the food was really interesting and the service very pleasant. This would be to perfect quiet retreat for a young vegan couple. I definitely recommend it, I felt comfortable and relaxed here, it is very laid back and welcoming. That goes for Certaldo Alto and the Tuscany region of Italy in general to, though ☺️
