The first words that come to mind are passion, research, mix of perfumes, cultures, religions, all well accompanied by the owners who with their passion and professionalism make you feel like a real guest, who just has to abandon themselves to the specialties prepared by the owner, Oh, I forgot, it's a real culinary experience... Bravi, bravi, bravi

We had a wonderful evening at Osteria del Vicario. From the ambiance with its stunning view, to the loving and artistic presentation of the vegetarian/vegan dishes, which are delicious even for meat-eaters, to the pleasant and attentive service, everything was perfect!

We booked in advance as we were in Certaldo on a Monday and we were the only people in the restaurant. The service from the co-owner was impeccable - he even gave me a stool for my purse! The food was incredible and each course was a delight. Vegan fine dining in the middle of Tuscany in a medieval fortified village! Only this restaurant (and b&b) and Il Castello in Certaldo Alto have panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside and the setting is stunning. One of the best evening meals I've ever had because of the food, the excellent wine and cocktail (and finally a non-alcoholic beer!) the views, the atmosphere (soft bossa nova playing and excerpts of an orchestra rehearsing in the church nearby). If I were to return to Certaldo, I'd eat here again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to this evening with the tasting menu to try a cuisine we are not used to. The experience was characterized by calm and care, right from the start. The landscape that can be enjoyed from the tables is enchanting and accompanies the courses, described with attention and detail. The menu plays on different consistencies and combinations and is truly fascinating, as well as delicious. The watermelon served stewed and marinated as if it were a peposo is special! We highly recommend the experience if you want to treat yourself and escape from the usual tastes. 😊

This is the second time we come to this establishment, everything is excellent! The vegan food is delicious and the hospitality is truly amazing. We celebrated my thirtieth birthday and our wedding here. Chef Eleonora and head waiter Erik are very prepared and you can see the passion and commitment they put into it. We'll see each other again! 🫂❤️

Il posto dove abbiamo mangiato era un piccolo giardino interno accogliente, intimo e curato. La vista sulle colline toscane ha accompagnato per intero la nostra esperienza, regalandoci un prezioso momento lontano dalla frenesia e dalle preoccupazioni quotidiane. Da novizi nella cucina vegana, lo chef Eleonora ci ha accolto e mostrato la sua passione per questo mondo attraverso diverse portate colorate che esclamavano primavera e freschezza. Gli accostamenti ricercati valorizzavano tutti gli alimenti utilizzati nelle preparazioni. Il servizio di Erik, grazie ad un giusto mix di formalità e informalità, ci ha fatti sentire a casa. Cordiale e disponibile sia per chiarimenti sulle portate che per indicazioni stradali. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Alternativa vegana veramente valida, da premiare l’impegno di Erik e Eleonora che mettono passione in quello che fanno e la trasmettono ai clienti. Posto stupendo dove regna la tranquillità e la bellissima vista sulle colline toscane.
