A historic neighborhood osteria, hidden among the buildings (though the sign is clearly visible). It offers traditional Roman cuisine, using high-quality ingredients and excellent preparation. The chefs are excellent, as is Alessandra in the dining room, who made us feel at home, thanks in part to the presence of other convivial and generous guests.
We enjoyed the three appetizers on the menu, followed by three traditional first courses: cacio e pepe, ricotta with bacon, and pasta and broccoli in broth. The Frascati Superiore wine was very good, and the homemade desserts were excellent.
The price was fair and reasonable for the quality.

We had lunch at the outdoor tables. The simple yet delicious dishes are typical of Roman tradition. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they were able to recommend an excellent vegetarian option for the pasta. The wine was also very good!

A well-maintained restaurant with truly friendly staff. Excellent food: I had lunch with a house appetizer with truly delicious homemade pickles, exquisite homemade gnocchi, and a staff friendliness that's hard to find anywhere else.
The desserts were also homemade: the crostata... simply fabulous.

Knowing you're going to a friend's house, rather than an osteria, is a guarantee that few places in Rome can offer. When you savor selected raw ingredients, the quality can never be less than EXCELLENT...
