Osteria del Tempo Perso In Poppi

Discovered by chance on maps. We stopped for lunch out of curiosity... A quaint and fun atmosphere. The staff were kind and accommodating. We had an appetizer of salads and cheeses and a first course. Potato tortelli with ragù ignorante. Very good! Maybe a few more tortelli wouldn't hurt. Overall, satisfied. The bill was a little steep. Anyway, worth a visit!

A friend and I stopped in during a motorcycle ride from Forlî around 10-11 in the morning, so the place was still empty. We were greeted by the owner, who, besides being a lovely person, is also an artist in the truest sense of the word (check out his comic, which is featured in the place). The place is very beautiful with its rock style; the bathroom is a standout: a true work of street art. If you like TOOL, SYSTEM, comics, and Lars Von Trier films, then this is the place for you.

More of a concept pub than an osteria. The owner has a lot to say, and he does so in a truly authentic setting. The dishes are excellent, and the wine list is also good, with carefully coordinated labels. Well done!

A great little quaint bar with a wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and a small, traditional menu. The food was delicious and the price was perfectly reasonable. It was lovely to enjoy such a wonderful dinner and then round off the evening with tasty drinks. Thanks from the Germans near Hamburg who don't speak English very well! 👍❤️😂

What can I say...we went in by mistake (we couldn't find a seat anywhere). It was a wonderful surprise, a really cute and cozy place, with cheerful and friendly staff. Very good food!! Modest prices! What more could you ask for? I recommend going there.

During a motorcycle ride to Poppi, lunchtime approached, and I Googled a place to eat. Among the many suggestions, I chose this place, and from the moment I called to make a reservation, I immediately sensed the owner's friendliness and helpfulness. Once I arrived, I was welcomed into an authentic setting, with a warm, lived-in atmosphere—a place that seems to tell so many stories. I ordered the traditional tordelli with their famous "ragù ignorante." The owner enthusiastically explained that it's prepared using pieces of a traditional cured meat from the Cosenza area. The result? Simply spectacular! Good food, generous portions, a friendly atmosphere, and a welcome that makes you feel right at home. These are those authentic places that are truly worth discovering. If you're passing through Poppi, stop by: it's a place I highly recommend!

We were passing through and looking for a place to have lunch, and we were struck by the truly original name. From the outside, it's hard to tell because it looks like a shop and isn't very noticeable, but inside, it's a great discovery!! The decor is very unique...very pop/rock... The owner is a huge AC/BC fan...look at the photos on the walls 😁!!! The bathroom seems to have been designed directly by the genius Andy Warlow...the food is good...typical Tuscan cuisine...authentic flavors and the vegetables are truly delicious, as if they were freshly picked and cooked. If you're in the area, stop by...the staff is welcoming and friendly...it's a very familiar and down-to-earth environment. Highly recommended!!!

A local tavern with a lot of character: the place is plastered with gadgets and stickers of every kind imaginable: music, beer, flags, posters! The atmosphere is super relaxed and makes you feel at home. Two indoor dining rooms and a few shared tables. The menu offers excellent home-cooked dishes. A wide selection of beers and wines. Super welcoming and cheerful service. Reasonable prices.

I took a trip to this town because I'd read it was called "Poppe" and was curious to see the local sights. When I read it was actually called "Poppi," I was about to leave, but I saw the name of this tavern and decided to sit down. I ate very well! The place is as dirty as my house, but the food is better! Highly recommended!
