Very good time had, the meal was excellent, as was the wine The welcome was very warm despite not having booked even though we were there on Saturday evening and arrived at 8 p.m. Umberto was a perfect host and we salute his French and his kindness!

The best place we visited in Rome. Food - 100000 out of 10. Excellent service. Cosy, traditional, amazing food. The Tiramisu - the best one in Rome! Everything coocked to perfection.

Came here in 2024 on a recommendation of a friend for a good carbonara and it was probably and honestly the best carbonara my spouse and I have tried! I remember the tiramisu being quite good as well. Definitely worth a go!

Kind and helpful service. We spoke no italian, and they treated us wonderfully. We did not have a reservation, so we were seated outside. But the service was still great.

Typical place where you can taste typical Roman dishes. The preparation of the dishes is perfect. Impeccable service. Nice environment. Not to be missed.

This is a do not miss. Hidden in an alley with delicious food and service. The tiramisu was so silky and obvious made in house, like everything else.

Un bel établissement confidentiel, caché derrière le panthéon. Le lieu est magique et les plats sont magnifiques. La cuisine travaille parfaitement. Les goûts sont là. Le chef nous a même fait goûter quelques spécialités sans rien demander. En revanche, il est dommage pour la cuisine que le service soit si médiocre. Personnel hautain et pas sympathique. On dirait que sourire est une souffrance pour cette serveuse brune et ces serveurs. Bien que nous ayons réservé, au deuxième service à 21h30, l’attente a été extrêmement longue. Lorsque j’ai allumé mon portable à la page tripadvisor, au bout de 30 minutes d’attentes, bizarrement en une fraction de secondes ,les cartes sont arrivés et la commande prise. Dommage, si le service était au niveau de la cuisine et du lieu, ce serait un sans faute. En fait, la serveuse Brune et les serveurs ont la grosse tète. C’est très étrange car lorsqu’on sert des clients, il suffit d’être souriant, attentif et professionnel. Un problème d’encadrement sans doute ou d’estime de soi au mauvais endroit. C’est dommage vis à vis de la cuisine. Allez y pour la cuisine et le lieu et n’attendez rien du service.

Osteria del Sostegno is a charming spot with warm and attentive service that makes you feel truly welcome. The indoor space is intimate and always bustling, but we were lucky to grab one of the few outdoor tables on a sunny February day. Heaters kept us cozy, adding to the pleasant atmosphere. We started with a delicious appetizer of artichokes and mozzarella, both fresh and flavorful. My friend ordered cacio e pepe, and in a delightful surprise, the waiter brought me a small tasting portion—such a thoughtful touch! The parmigiana was incredible—rich in flavor yet not heavy. The staff was engaging and made the experience even more enjoyable. For two people, including starters, pasta, and water, the total was € 73, well worth it for the quality and experience. Highly recommended for an authentic and welcoming Roman meal!
