A simple osteria where you immediately feel at home. The food is very good (choose your antipasti from the counter: perfect!). Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant. The appetizer buffet is truly special. The fish parmigiana and fish soup are also excellent.
We had turbot for two, which could have been better accompanied. It was a few potatoes and had a little cooking sauce.
The only downside was the price. I found it a bit pricey for an osteria. The fish was €70!
Well, maybe not quite the simple osteria experience we were looking for.

The best calamari ever! The appetizers were also outstanding, and the homemade gnocchi were simply out of this world! The wine selection was also very impressive. The service was very attentive. Definitely five stars!!

The two of us had a selection of mixed fish fillet appetizers, a fish soup, and pappardelle alla busera, accompanied by four glasses of wine from the Trieste and Slovenian regions (Bole Kociancic and a Slovenian macerated wine, the only one we found neither balanced nor frank).
Friendly and adequate table service.
Charming place.

A pleasant place with good, if not excellent, food. The service was friendly, with a young waitress who made every effort to make a good impression. All in all, a lovely evening in a lovely Trieste osteria. Well done!

Si tratta di una tipica trattoria di pesce con una cucina di qualità, un menù tradizionale, senza discutibili sperimentazioni e che non tradisce. Ampia selezione di antipasti da scegliere al banco. Ottimi i primi, i sardoni impanati, le seppie in umido. Valorizzati il pesce azzurro e il pesce povero. Personale giovane e gentile, molto piacevoli i tavolini fuori. Apprezzabile anche la malvasia sfusa. più che corretti i prezzi

Siamo stati al ristorante Salvagente per pranzo e siamo rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. Gli antipasti sono davvero eccellenti, cucina tradizionale e con ingredienti freschissimi. Ogni piatto è un mix ben bilanciato di sapori, che grazie alla freschezza degli ingredienti, sorprende senza mai esagerare. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile, l’atmosfera rilassata ma curata. Un posto dove torneremo sicuramente! Consigliato per chi ama iniziare la giornata con il piede giusto.
