A true Tuscan osteria, excellent red platter, amazing wild boar pici, Paolo, the owner, a true Tuscan, a true immersion in local culture. Fair prices.

The quality of the food is beyond discussion, I had a cutting board and a plate of pici with duck ragù and they were exceptional. The seriousness of a restaurant can also be seen from things like fresh homemade basil pesto, hospitality and courtesy despite the place being very informal. I personally am from the Florence area and was there for work, but if I were a tourist looking for authentic food I would definitely look for a place like this. I will definitely return.

Very good tavern, with a nice counter to buy cured meats, cheeses, delicatessen and bread. Typical dishes of Tuscan cuisine, really good the crostoni with livers and pici with wild boar. If I can say one thing, you have a huge potential, the exterior could be fixed and kept more cared for. Maybe in Tuscany they don't pay much attention to these things, but trust me those who come from far away will see it immediately. Recommended place for everyone, excellent!

A typical Tuscan tavern, with a delicatessen counter and an outdoor garden. I was welcomed and accompanied to the table, I was immediately offered fresh water. I ate a mixed platter as an appetizer, consisting of cold cuts and cheeses. Afterwards I had a plate of pici, excellent cooking and preparation. The service was a bit rushed and too much movement between the tables. The bill was perhaps slightly high for the portions that were served to me but still fresh food and quality raw materials. If you are passing through and want to have a quick lunch this could be a decent option.

A great small restaurant in Grassina serving traditional tuscan dishes for reasonable prices. I got the duck ragu and it was excellently done!

Now a historic place in Grassina, very well known and popular. Traditional Tuscan menu. Excellent cured meats and cheeses. Super-stocked cellar.
