Ancient food shop which over time transformed into a restaurant. Excellent food, excellent conviviality. Spartan service and substantial dishes. The cold cuts are top notch.

4 of us had dinner with two platters of very good cheeses and cold cuts, then pappardelle with roe deer and testaroli with pesto, peloso and fried chicken, all very good. Typical restaurant atmosphere, very welcoming and personal friendly and prepared. We will definitely be back for a fair price for what we ate

After years, it was wonderful to find Paolo again at Osteria del Rosso. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The Rosso cutting board is a must, rich and tasty. The first dish we chose was simply divine, and the liver was cooked to perfection. The dessert also ended on a high note. Excellent food quality, impeccable service and honest prices. If you are in Grassina, you can't miss this tavern!

Space restaurant, exceptional food, kind, competent and very friendly staff. Furthermore, low prices, and a very, very nice environment, with a very nice outdoor garden with a characteristic tree in the centre. We went back twice in one week. Well done!

The food was great! Loved how everything tasted, while the menu wasn’t in English, our waiter was extremely helpful with helping us translate it and telling us what we were ordering, all in all, this place has a very “hole in the wall” feel, but the food was delicious

Pizzeria with a cooking part. Genuine products and homemade methods if you are in the area you can try it. We didn't find any great meat, I would have liked to try something local, perhaps from wild farming. Good selection of local wines.

Posto caratteristico, sembra una semplice gastronomia ma una volta passata la porta con la tenda rossa, si aprono sale e salette con i tavolini del ristorante e quelli in giardino. Il menu è semplice e c'è scelta con vari piatti del giorno, anche io che sono vegetariana trovo sempre qualcosa di buono. Lo staff è accogliente e simpatico, ogni volta che andiamo a Grassina è il nostro punto di riferimento.

17/02/2025: We recently had lunch at this restaurant with 4 people and we were really impressed. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. We started with a delicious starter, consisting of a selection of tasty cured meats, crunchy crostini and coccoli, which melted in your mouth. A perfect start, which whetted our appetite without weighing us down. For the main course, we opted for the peposo and the tagliatelle with caramelized onions and lard. The peposo was tender and tasty, with a rich, mouth-filling flavour, while the tagliatelle, served with caramelised onions and lard, was simply spectacular. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the contrast between the sweetness of the onions and the richness of the lard created an irresistible combination. Finally, we concluded our lunch with a selection of desserts, all truly exceptional. Each dessert was a surprise, prepared with care and with fresh, quality ingredients. A true delight for the palate! Overall, it was a perfect lunch, with dishes that won us over from the first taste. We will definitely be back!
