Excellent restaurant where I always gladly return, excellent dishes with truffles

A truly excellent place. We ate wonderfully, in a warm, rustic setting. Excellent service, both friendly and professional. Incredible value for money. The tortellini in broth were fantastic, as was everything else. We'll definitely be returning for their grilled meats and truffle dishes.

Fabulous lunch at this elegant osteria in Pilastrino di Gavignano! The atmosphere is very refined and elegant, perfect for a couple's experience (even though I was alone). The food is fantastic, from the homemade bread (which also includes crescentine bolognese and breadsticks) to the first and second courses: I enjoyed cavatappi (a type of pasta similar to caserecce) with an excellent wild boar ragù and a guinea fowl leg stuffed with chestnuts and porcini mushrooms, accompanied by baked potatoes and a fantastic Asiago cheese sauce with black truffle. The minestrone and rice entree was also very popular. The dessert was Sacher torte. Special mention goes to the professionalism and kindness of the woman who served: as I told her when I received the bill (which was fair for the price), I will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is beautiful, a mix of warm, welcoming, and refined. All the dishes and table service were excellent. The wait was a bit long, and the bill was a bit above average.

The tortelli are fantastic.... honestly, I've never tasted such a balanced yet tasty dish..... then the tigelle and crescentina with cured meats and cheese..... delicious.... book because it's always full..... the prices aren't cheap but I was happy to pay.... 😉

Wonderful location, clean, fantastic staff, kind, attentive to the customer's needs, cuisine that is nothing short of amazing, ranging from traditional dishes to the most sophisticated ones with top-quality ingredients and you can taste it as soon as you taste the first bite, the quality of the food is evident, with truly excellent pairings, extensive and quality wine list. Simply put, 5 stars are not enough, the food and drink are divine! We will definitely be back, this for us is the true concept of quality dining.

I was there today for lunch; they currently have a truffle menu in addition to the regular menu. I was greeted with a wonderful mini fried gnocchi filled with Parmesan cream and mortadella. Then I tried the tortelloni with Parmesan cream and truffle and the mascarpone with tenerina cheese. Everything was truly delicious, beautifully clean and tidy, with relaxing background music. My compliments, you can tell they put a lot of care into every dish. The fresh, high-quality food was truly delicious! Thanks, see you next time.

I was expecting a great meal. The green fettuccine with ragu sauce were just OK. The sauce was greasy and we ended up giving it to the dog back home. We told the staff it wasn’t very good and they didn’t offer to give us something else nor give us and freebies nor did they take it off the bill. The service was very average probably due to the fact the place was busy. They should really hire another server. The steak was great but the side of grilled veggies was very poor. Wine list is outstanding and so is the bread baked on the premises. We are not going back. PS if I pay 25 euros for a steak i expect the pepper to be freshly grounded not the one you buy at the grocery store. Also I was born and raised in Italy so when we talk about food I know what I am talking about.
