16/12/2025: The Chapel of the Lily is located at Via Borgo Pinti 58, within a convent with an adjoining beautiful church dedicated to Santa Maria Maddalena de' Pazzi. The chapel has undergone extensive restoration work by the Superintendency of Archaeology and Fine Arts of Florence, Prato, Pistoia. The guided tour, organized by the Superintendency, was led by the same restorers as the chapel and the architect in charge of the restoration. We explored the history of the monastic complex of Santa Maria Maddalena de' Pazzi, but above all, we were shown the difficulties encountered in restoring the splendid frescoes by Poccetti, a talented, yet little-known, Florentine painter. These frescoes, unfortunately in serious condition, are nevertheless incredibly fascinating.

04/04/2026: Magnificent. If we could teleport, we'd eat here every day. We spent three days in Florence, and every single day we ate here because it's spectacular. The food is on another level, the service is fabulous, the wines, the ambiance, the owner, the chef, and the staff are all amazing. We had truly wonderful experiences at this place. If you go to Florence, it's a must-visit; it would be a sin not to try it. An unforgettable experience: pure love. We still think about this place and smile inside. My husband still gets teary-eyed remembering the happiness of those days. A big hug and best wishes to Iacopo and everyone there. Every single bite we took those nights is etched in our hearts.
