Mi sono trovato per caso con amici in questa trattoria collocata un pò nascosta bel centro di Lucca.
Servizio molto gentile, ambiente rustico ma accogliente menù forse un pò turistico ma con piatti della tradizione Lucchese e Toscana molto ben fatti e gustosi.
Ricco il tagliere di affettati e formaggi misti che era accompagnato da un assaggio di pappa al pomodoro e uno di bucce di patate fritte: molto interessanti e buone.
Ottimi i tordelli (tortelli lucchesi con ripieno di carne) conditi da ragù di carne. Molto buoni i pici al piccione e al coniglio.
Il prezzo è stato onesto.

I found myself by chance with friends in this trattoria located a little hidden in the center of Lucca.
Very kind service, rustic but welcoming atmosphere, menu perhaps a little touristy but with traditional Lucca and Tuscan dishes very well made and tasty.
The platter was rich in cold cuts and mixed cheeses which was accompanied by a sample of tomato puree and a sample of fried potato skins: very interesting and good.
Excellent tordelli (tortelli from Lucca filled with meat) seasoned with meat sauce. The pigeon and rabbit pici are very good.
The price was fair.

Went with friends on holiday and found by chance excellent cuisine and friendly staff. We ate very well at the starter of cured meats and cheeses with the balances and impeccable and what can we say about the delicious first courses

We spent lunch on January 1st at the tavern and everything was perfect: excellent food, good wine, very kind and courteous staff.
The location is well looked after, it immediately gives you the feeling of relaxation so you can enjoy excellent, well-cooked dishes at the right price

We had lunch at this time-honoured Osteria on new year's day. Everything was perfect - the food, the wine, the service, the atmosphere. We had an amazing beef tagliata for mains, barbecued to smoky-flavoured perfection. The desserts, especially the tiramisu with a Luccan twist were also very satisfying. A 'bomba' liqueur lifted our spirits and settled our digestion. Dining at Osteria del Neni was the best start to 2025. A heartfelt thanks to the kind and welcoming staff.

Typical tavern, very welcoming environment with pleasant background music during dinner.
The dishes were rich and of excellent quality.
The attentive staff tops up the bread basket whenever it is almost finished.
Absolutely recommended.

In una parola la definirei squisita. Location 10/10, servizio 10/10 (ragazze davvero simpatiche e gentili), cibo 100/10. Ho mangiato cibo locale e tradizionale davvero squisito e in più questo posticino è anche lontano dalla strada principale in modo da creare un’atmosfera davvero calma e romantica. Spero di tornarci al più presto perche merita!!
