In the right season, you can dine outside.
Welcoming and informal staff. Traditional food, reasonably priced. Generous portions.
Everything was excellent, and you didn't feel weighed down.
A must try; I'll definitely be back.

Excellent food and atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
The desserts are absolutely phenomenal. We’ve tried many places across Italy, but this one is definitely 10 steps above the rest.

I stumbled upon this place during a day trip to Lucca. It's tucked away in a small street amidst the busier shopping streets, so you'd easily walk right past it. Sardines with brioche and lemon butter were excellent. The pasta with ragù cinta sinese had a very deep flavor, highly recommended. The peach dessert was a surprise. The kids had plenty of options and enjoyed their meal as well. We sat outside under a parasol, which was a bit cramped, but otherwise, it's a very cozy place.

Osteria Del Neni is a place that makes us love Italian gastronomy. In an alleyway far from the main squares and tourist spots, a young team served us generous, typical, and tasty dishes. Thank you for this delicious meal.

- House wine, red, very sour, not recommended
- Lasagna also had a strange aftertaste, tartar was stringy and lacked flavor
- Dessert (brownie) was dry, tiramisu with raisins?!
Too expensive for that.

Locale in una via un po' nascosta e quindi più tranquilla rispetto a quelli nelle vie adiacenti, molto carino e accogliente.
Il tagliere e i primi molto buoni, una buona cucina tipica. Personale molto simpatico e disponibile. Buon prezzo.

Siamo venuti a cena per merito di Andrei dell’Hotel Villa Rinascimento che ce l’ha consigliato caldamente per la qualità del cibo e la tradizione. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti divinamente dalla cameriera che ci ha portati al tavolo e offerto 2 calici di vino bianco per il Brindisi. Io ho preso dei Testaroli Bio con cacio e pepe ai carciofi mentre la mia compagna dei tortelli ripieni al ragù con sugo al ragù di carne lucchese. Come secondo io ho scelto pollo coniglio e carciofi fritti e lei una guancia di maiale su letto di purè.. come dolci abbiamo preso una cheesecake e una torta di mele con crema pasticceria e caramello salato..
