I went to Lucca with my daughter, we found it by chance but we fell in love with it, a nice place, super good food with special dishes and for this reason I recommend it, not the usual tourist menu but special and interesting things. I highly recommend it and I will definitely go back very soon with friends

Quiet tavern in the center of Lucca: the location is strategic for enjoying a bit of peace as it is a street not busy with tourists. Very kind and efficient staff. Abundant and good dishes with normal prices.

Locale in una via un po' nascosta e quindi più tranquilla rispetto a quelli nelle vie adiacenti, molto carino e accogliente.
Il tagliere e i primi molto buoni, una buona cucina tipica. Personale molto simpatico e disponibile. Buon prezzo.

Beautiful and comfortable environment, excellent food with generous portions, quality and well made. The place you're looking for as a tourist and don't want to eat like a tourist. Friendly, attentive and never intrusive service. Really excellent on everything. Highly recommended

Friendly and helpful staff, I appreciated that they offered us water for the dog
We ordered the tortelli alla lucchese: they were excellent, especially the ragù was excellent.
Then we had the cantucci with vino santo and a goat's cheese cake with blueberry sauce: a cloud of goodness 😍. Coffee.
Quiet place just outside the chaos of the centre.

Place in a somewhat hidden street and therefore quieter than those in the adjacent streets, very nice and welcoming.
The cutting board and the first courses are very good, good typical cuisine. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good price.

If you want a restaurant with breathtaking Italian cuisine which you will fondly remember as one of the highlights of your trip to Lucca, this is definitely NOT the place to go. Fried dry chicken and frozen lasagne is not something I usually want to eat :)

Mi sono trovato per caso con amici in questa trattoria collocata un pò nascosta bel centro di Lucca.
Servizio molto gentile, ambiente rustico ma accogliente menù forse un pò turistico ma con piatti della tradizione Lucchese e Toscana molto ben fatti e gustosi.
Ricco il tagliere di affettati e formaggi misti che era accompagnato da un assaggio di pappa al pomodoro e uno di bucce di patate fritte: molto interessanti e buone.
Ottimi i tordelli (tortelli lucchesi con ripieno di carne) conditi da ragù di carne. Molto buoni i pici al piccione e al coniglio.
Il prezzo è stato onesto.
