Discovered by chance, this tavern has rightfully entered my heart.
The environment and furnishings are a little dated but therefore absolutely appropriate and well preserved. Clean environment. The menu does not exist, the very nice managers guided us through a selection of their traditional Novara dishes. Typical cured meats, peppers in bagna cauda, Zola gnocchi and meat ravioli with ragù. They then offered us a taste of their paniscia, which was truly pleasant.
A good bottle of dolcetto and a bonet to finish.
Total cost for two €50.
Paid very willingly.
Our dog, whose presence we had notified in advance, was well received and we were provided with a bowl of water.

Often at lunch for work. Excellent food even if the menu is short in the first courses and a bit repetitive and wintry in the rest. But it's always worth the expense.

Osteria like those of the past, which unfortunately you now struggle to find. Welcoming environment, where you feel at home. Very professional owners and staff, but with the typical courtesy of those who do this job with passion. Excellent traditional cuisine with the use of quality raw materials. Very satisfied with everything I tasted, especially the second courses.

We were passing through Novara, we called and they had 3 free seats. A truly delicious lunch cooked to perfection by expert hands. The peppers were not very good but in the mouth they released a strong flavour
Exquisite, the salami they brought was also good and, like cherries, one slice leads to another. Then came His Majesty the Paniscia Alla Novarese, an exceptional dish only by smelling you could recognize all the excellent quality ingredients. We will certainly be happy to return. OPS I forgot the exceptional dessert "Il Bonet", you can see it's made by them, very good. Thank you for delighting our palates. Michele

Osteria with a red checked tablecloth, therefore a real free-range tavern. Bring plenty and if you take the paniscia they will bring you the "reinforcement" for fear that what they have brought you is not enough. Excellent peppers in bagna cauda, balanced garlic / anchovies ratio, gentle on the palate but intriguing. The ravioli and gnocco with zola are excellent. I managed to taste the roast with mushrooms. The bunet is simple but special.

Excellent location, perhaps a little inconvenient because there is no parking, but by entering a few side streets of the main street you can find various car parks.
Everything was excellent, typical and non-typical cuisine. There's something for all tastes!
Friendly staff! We went for lunch and there isn't a menu, but they give you some verbal options!
Very nice and ate really well!
Highly recommended!
