Beautiful tavern near Assisi and at the beginning of the path to the San Francesco forest, truly excellent food and friendly staff, they even offered us a taste of all their bitters at the end of lunch, all accompanied by beautiful cats

Tagliatelle with meat sauce... without meat sauce! The cutting boards are good because the products are obviously not made by them. Leave the first ones alone, and probably everything else too.

Disappointment! I had come many times to the Osteria del Mulino in Assisi, a beautiful place where I had always eaten very well. Today with the new management I found a decidedly inadequate quality/price ratio in a very cold environment and we were told that the fireplace doesn't work because the chimney was on the opposite side 😀... with the old management I found it always on and working perfectly even for cooking. It's a shame not to take care of such a beautiful place.

From the first moment, you are welcomed warmly by the staff, always attentive and smiling, capable of making every guest feel special. The true heart of the place is Stefano, the innkeeper, a "chubby", jovial and passionate host who carefully selects each ingredient, transforming excellent raw materials into dishes that tell stories of tradition and innovation. Each course is a journey through authentic flavours, with a perfect balance between quality and simplicity. The prices are absolutely adequate for the quality of the experience: here you pay not only for the food, but for the love and dedication that can be perceived in every detail. In this restaurant you can breathe a magical air, where nature blends with cuisine and every meal becomes an unforgettable experience. Ho cenato di recente in questo ristorante e sono rimasta profondamente colpita sia dalla cucina squisita che dal servizio impeccabile. Il menu presentava una varietà di piatti innovativi, con sapori audaci e una bella presentazione. Il personale attento e competente ha fatto in modo che il nostro pasto fosse memorabile, fornendo ottimi consigli e garantendo la nostra soddisfazione.

A little careless, I only had one and a half starters, the room at least one is bare and cold, the staff are kind and welcoming.

Ciò che ci ha più colpito è il luogo, il mulino, i sapori di un tempo. Il cibo è ottimo, genuino. La titolare con il personale e’ premuroso, molto cortese e molto disponibile alle richieste.
