Already known place and reconfirmed as wonderful. Bucolic outdoor pergola. Excellent food even for celiacs who are very knowledgeable compared to the previous management. Friendly friendly helpful staff. Right service good times. We came twice in the space of 4 days and will be back. Highly recommended. Well done 👏

We booked in the morning for lunch to celebrate the birthday of a friend of ours after having done the usual tour of Assisi. Their biggest "gem" is the service, close-knit and friendly: we were a group of 10 people and we felt welcomed as if we were at a family table! We ate well, like everywhere you go around Italy. Their highlight for me was an appetizer, namely the scrambled egg with truffle: a classic that never dies, well executed and balanced. The amazing location can also be reached on foot by taking a very pleasant walk through the woods starting from the Basilica square (but then you also have to go back up with a full belly...). If I ever return to Assisi one day, I will definitely return!

We have been in Italy for 2 weeks so far and have been to a restaurant every day, local traditional italian and tourist focused restaurants. This is by far the best food so far! And the location is also amazing with parking nearby and beautiful walking trails.

Assisi è di per se un luogo di pace e tranquillità e questo posto ai piedi del bosco di San Francesco ne è la conferma. Pochi tavoli in legno all'aperto in mezzo al verde ed una buona cucina tipica... conviene prenotare perché il posto è gettonato ed i tavoli vengono presto occupati.

Al termine di una bellissima passeggiata nel bosco di S.Francesco ti accoglie questo meraviglioso ristorante dove, sotto un pergolato fresco e ombreggiato, puoi godere di ottima cucina in pace e relax.
La struttura è recente, gestita da personale giovane e dinamico, attentissimo alla clientela, rispettoso e gentile.
Il cibo è ottimo e curato.
I prezzi sono, a mio avviso, contenuti.
Davvero una bella esperienza !
