A little careless, I only had one and a half starters, the room at least one is bare and cold, the staff are kind and welcoming.

They are different because every time I go to Assisi I eat here. The food has always been good although I think the management has changed since the first times I was there. Together with the context of the Bosco di San Francesco it is truly a special place

Friendly service, traditional dishes with genuine, quality ingredients, an environment immersed in the nature of the forest and a very characteristic internal room. Clean bathrooms. We had a great time.

A tavern, as the name suggests, few tables, retro style, staff who make you feel at home, simple dishes, but we ate very well and would love to return!

Al ritorno dalla bellissima passeggiata del Fai fino all’abbazia di San Francesco, ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questo piccolo angolo di paradiso. Il cibo è stato il migliore mangiato in Umbria, reso ancora migliore dalle ragazze che gestiscono il locale: simpatiche, cordiali e affabili! Da ritornarci al 100%!

31/08/2024: Truly remarkable context and location. The wait is certainly unusual and decidedly excessive. But then, dishes that are absolutely top notch in quality and presentation. Good value for money considering the level.
24/08/2024: Nelle vicinanze di Umbertide potete trovare questa location curata con servizio gentile e piatti eccezionali. Magari non velocissimo il servizio ma l’attesa vale la qualità elevata dei piatti. Il dolce rivisitato maritozzo vale di per sé la visita. Consigliatissimo

23/12/2024: A 360 degree cuddle. Exquisite food in a beautiful and relaxing welcoming environment. We will definitely be back
15/12/2024: We had lunch in this restaurant which is also a beautiful historic location. We started by taking 2 starters: goose breast with salad, very good, and a spinach flan, nothing short of sublime. Then we continued with carbonara and truffle umbricelli and tortellini filled with ricotta and red beetroot, asparagus, porcini mushrooms, truffle and hazelnuts, both fantastic. To complete the lunch we had a fillet of veal with Sagrantino passito and caramelized onions and pears: delicious. Eating in this place was a culinary experience, with absolutely non-trivial dishes. Highly recommended
