Too bad there are only 5 stars, they deserve more. In this place it can be said that you gain in local spirit and soul located near the San Francesco forest next to the church of the crucifix. Excellent food impeccable service beautiful setting.

Assisi è di per se un luogo di pace e tranquillità e questo posto ai piedi del bosco di San Francesco ne è la conferma. Pochi tavoli in legno all'aperto in mezzo al verde ed una buona cucina tipica... conviene prenotare perché il posto è gettonato ed i tavoli vengono presto occupati.

Very nice location surrounded by nature. The food is really of excellent quality. I personally took a sliced ​​steak (exceptional quality) and the roasted potatoes (the best I've ever eaten). The prices are more than honest. I didn't give 5 stars simply because the service was a little slow and slightly inattentive. It was certainly an exception. Super recommended anyway!!

The new management of the Osteria del Mulino really deserves a lot. The location is wonderful, the structure simple but immersed in uncontaminated nature where, looking up, you can admire the majestic Basilica of San Francesco. Stefano's availability is exceptional, he welcomes you and follows you so that you can live an experience of total relaxation. The kitchen offers tasty and genuine dishes, we were there for dinner and also returned for lunch.

I arrive by chance in this restaurant located in an enchanting place and I discover wonderful cuisine... I tried a mix of cheeses as a starter and I was literally left speechless, I follow with a mouth-watering truffle slice and finally biscuits homemade products which are wonderful and a sour cherry liqueur which fortunately finished the bottle otherwise I would have had to stop there to sleep... Jokes aside really satisfied with the dinner but I have to go back for the first courses which from the scent coming from the other tables must be special . The really kind owner who goes around the tables with a spontaneous smile that makes you feel at home. Excellent and highly recommended.

Incantevole location ai piedi del Bosco di S. Francesco con pareti in pietra viva ed un bel camino al piano superiore. La cucina offre i tipici piatti della cucina umbra ma ad eccezione dell'antipasto misto di ottimi affettati e formaggi accompagnati da una buona focaccia, i primi (caramelle di pasta quasi crudi) e soprattutto il secondo di carne mista alla brace (salsiccia e costine di maiale ed agnello di formato mignon e bruciati) hanno deluso le aspettative. Personale gentile e professionale. Rapporto qualita'-prezzo mediocre.
