My family and I visited this wonderful osteria...beautiful place, excellent food, homemade flavors and top-quality ingredients. There were five of us, and the portions were more than generous. Not to mention the dessert. We recommend it to everyone; go! You won't regret it!

A beautiful, magical place surrounded by nature. I organized my husband's surprise birthday party remotely because we don't live in Umbria, and I was met with courtesy, utmost availability, and excellent quality of service and food. I'm truly grateful for the treatment given to us and our guests. Well done everyone! I highly recommend it!

A beautiful corner of the woods, and inside this small, very well-maintained restaurant. Good food and competent service.

We had dinner this evening, two adults and two children. The atmosphere was beautiful, with the outdoor tables under the pergola not too crowded. One of the children is the typical child who loves to explore, pet the animals (they have some somewhat shy cats), and gets excited by little, but I never saw a dirty look from the staff or a customer bothered by his wandering around the tables. We had a good and tasty pizza (the base is pre-cooked, so don't expect real pizza), spicy but not overly spicy chicken, tagliolini with truffle (truffle sauce), and a sliced steak. Two desserts and coffee with water, wine, and a beer came to just over €110. Peace reigns throughout this place, and you can feel it from the moment you arrive! A place to return to if you're passing through Assisi!

Ristorante Maggiolini

12/10/2025: Highly recommended. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Authentic, excellent food—superlative is an understatement. Welcoming, wonderful atmosphere. I hope to return soon. Highly recommended. Well done, well done, very well done. 👏👏👏👏👏
26/09/2025: A lovely restaurant in the village of Trevi. The menu features unique dishes. We had a mixed antipasto of cured meats and cheeses, a pasta dish, and a chickpea soup with porcini mushrooms, both excellent. We also had two desserts: one with ricotta and black cherries, and a semifreddo with dried fruit and candied fruit, both delicious. Generous portions and good value.

Osteria Baciafemmine

13/10/2025: Excellent cuisine, carefully prepared dishes, and authentic flavors. In addition to the top-rated dishes, their homemade bread is exceptional: fragrant, soft, and full of flavor!
07/10/2025: A beautiful, quaint restaurant with a lovely red room and—a few steps down—a sort of cellar room. Several signs point the way from the old town entrance to the restaurant. The service is polite and friendly. While serving the "Tagliere," she briefly explained all the sausages, hams, and cheeses to us. The cuisine is quite upscale, and the food is very tasty, which is why the prices are absolutely justified. The only thing I personally didn't quite like was the tiramisu. I completely missed the taste of coffee. It's part of the experience, though, especially since it's supposed to wake you up; hence—I think—the name: "Pull me up," meaning "wake me up." It also consisted mainly of mascarpone. There were maybe a few pavesini on top. I've heard of it with the savoiardi (spoon biscuits), but they're solid from top to bottom. That way, at least they have some bite. But below the Pavesini (or whatever) there was just a "mascarpone lake." Certainly not bad, but not particularly appealing in terms of taste. But as I said: a matter of taste. Having been there five times already, I can highly recommend it. In 2019, for example, I had the melted cheese with truffle – without honey upon request; then the pappardelle al cinghiale; or the simple lentil soup. This time we had the tagliere, the pasta with capra, and each of the duck breast and beef, I think. In 2019, we had an appetizer that was extremely complex; hence the numerous photos. Very interesting back then was this kind of meatloaf with balsamic vinegar; but half as thick as in Germany. It tasted much more refined, though. The house wine was also surprisingly good: only €8 a liter back then. By the way: the pool was, of course, very clean. Parking is convenient and free in front of the circular square in front of the pedestrian bridge over the Nera River. It's great that this restaurant exists: highly recommended, as it combines typical Umbrian cuisine with high quality.
