Good restaurant, excellent service

First time at this restaurant, we had a mixed appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, and desserts. I'm speechless: top-quality food, friendly staff, beautiful venue, and fast service despite the crowds. Perhaps the only downside is the price, a bit steep, but not that much considering the overall quality of this place. I'll definitely be back!!!

I think the 5 stars are more than deserved! First of all, the quality of the food is evident: the cured meats, cheeses, and accompanying focaccias are truly spectacular! Then I had the venison goulash with polenta, which was not only delicious but also plentiful. In fact, in my opinion, the portions were excellent; you definitely won't leave hungry! The service was very professional and kind, even in advising and guiding us on the choice of dishes! I really like the ambiance; it blends the ancient and the modern! Last but not least, they have a very extensive wine list, truly something for every palate. The best value restaurant around; we'll definitely be back! I recommend booking in advance because it's always busy, and I believe it!

Sublime experience. Welcome, professionalism, and, of course, quality food. A friend and I chose this place to celebrate our birthday in a discreet way, and we were extremely satisfied. Typical Piacenza and Parma cuisine, brought together in a triumph of flavors that emphasize tradition with a touch of the future. We spent €90 but we didn't miss a thing: a glass of champagne, a plate of culatello with Russian salad, two first courses (braised cappellacci and beetroot ravioli), two second courses (cutlet with cherry tomatoes, potatoes, mayonnaise, and veal tongue with vegetables), a bottle of Barbaresco (and what a bottle), coffee, and a drink (double grappa with the second course). Recommended? Absolutely. An extra note of merit? The young staff. Long live Emilia!

The place was very nice. There were two rooms. An original two-story interior, still decorated in a Christmas theme, and an outdoor area, a veranda with large windows that will open in the summer, a bit more impersonal. The appetizer wasn't the best; the cured meats were a bit flavorless and cut way too thick. My tortelli were good, delicate, and flavorful.
