Osteria del Mare In Sovico

Commercial seafood restaurant, nothing special. The staff was courteous and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant, like a village tavern, but still nice and tidy. There's parking nearby. I'm speaking for myself, since I'm writing this review even though we had a large table. I relied on the house tasting menu; only the risotto was good, the rest disappointed me. A few more points for the well-made and delicious dessert. Average cost per person was €45. I understand the restaurant's efforts, which, after all, was packed; serving everyone must have taken a lot of effort and commitment, but in my own small way, I wasn't satisfied. Perhaps it's better to fill less than to neglect what comes out of the kitchen. I'm including photos of myself and of the dishes that were served, including those who were with me.

Lunch break, good price, little fish contained in the pasta. Pasta very overcooked. Second course of fish good Total 14 euros for lunch break. It's ok as a lunch break.

...I didn't remember having been there before and by chance I came back with friends...well we couldn't have chosen a better evening to make some spaghetti...I will definitely come back to try other strictly fish-based dishes...

Passing by I stopped at this tavern that has seafood as its specialty. I found the food to be really good, the portions just right, unlike most restaurants that beg on the quantities and also offered a fornarina as an accompaniment (also here something very unusual). So for the quality of the food, quantity, flavors and service, five stars all deserved

Good tavern, you can have lunch at reasonable prices if you choose the land or sea dish of the day. Otherwise, the à la carte menu and the pizzas are good. The environment is spacious and also suitable for large groups. Good attentive and quick service.

Ieri sera con amici ! Eravamo i 4, due menù degustazione e alla carta Il cameriere ci spiega che il menù degustazione era tutto compreso dall’ antipasto al dolce compresa acqua e vino. Sul conto invece ci è stata addebitata una bottiglia di prosecco. Peccato che le due persone che hanno cenato alla carta fossero astemie. Per il resto tutto ok , buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Ale
