We stopped for breakfast on our way to the Accademia Gallery and were shocked by the prices: a cappuccino was €5.50. Prices go up by €1 if you order at a table, and overall we thought it was quite expensive. A cannolo was €5.50 and a croissant with ham and cheese was €6.
We have to admit the service was quite good. We ordered a caffè latte thinking it would be coffee with milk in a cup, but they brought us an incredibly large glass with foam and syrup. After asking the waitress, they kindly changed it for a cappuccino. The café is very well located and the place is pleasant for breakfast, but it's excessively expensive.

Al Ponte del Lovo is a charming little spot in Venice with great service and a cozy atmosphere. I tried the cannoli, and it was absolutely delicious — crisp shell, creamy filling, and beautifully presented. However, the price was a bit high compared to other places in the city where the cannoli tasted just as good. Still, it’s a lovely stop for a sweet treat if you don’t mind paying a little extra for the experience.

We stopped here so we could have a coffee and use the restrooms. Kids wanted something sweet of course! The cannolo was too sweet for my liking and the traditional Venetian Doge biscuit was bright green like shrek! Anyway, can’t complain when in Venice! Service was friendly, coffee good and an extra star for free water without asking :-)

In Venice, Saturday afternoon: the options were to have coffee standing up in some places (without tables) or go to Starbucks. We went here and not only found a great atmosphere and a table, but we also enjoyed a snack, and they helped me by lighting candles for it since it was my husband's birthday. I'd seen some reviews saying it was expensive—is there anything cheap in Venice? At least I feel like we found a decent, authentic place, compared to Starbucks...

A busy cafe with reasonably priced drinks and good service. However, the pastries are a letdown: dry, cloyingly sweet, and practically inedible. The blue macarons will stain your mouth like a Smurf. You can watch the customers' initial excitement vanish with their first bite. Recommended for a quick drink, but avoid the food.
