I had lunch at this restaurant today, booked a bit last minute... I was craving a risotto... What can I say, simply EXTRAORDINARY, a Milanese risotto with ossobuco, incredibly tender meat, perfectly flavorful rice, no ingredient overpowering the other, the best in years. The person I was with had a sliced ​​Angus steak with caramelized onion and crispy bacon, which he thought was excellent. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is pleasant, not too noisy, and above all, clean. I left and my clothes hadn't picked up any odor. I'll definitely be back, try it, you won't regret it ☺️

A pearl of the Po Valley... The name is a bit misleading... I thought it was a small, charming, traditional osteria serving local dishes and ancient traditions... but more simple... And instead it's a lovely restaurant... I'd say refined in its manner and management, but above all in its dishes. Impeccable and delicate service, you can feel the tradition but also perceive the innovation, resulting in classic dishes and others expertly revisited. I enjoyed a fantastic cassoeula... perfectly balanced in both flavor and quantity. The wait staff is competent and genuine... they don't exaggerate or fall into the cold, stiff description... on the contrary, they're excellent. Obviously... since it's not an osteria, the prices are moderate. I'll definitely be back!

Discovered 40 years late. We booked and had lunch by word of mouth. Everything was very good. A lovely restaurant with a beautiful garden. The food was very good, made with very fresh ingredients. Just one small point, which can only be helpful: a little less butter in the risotto alla Milanese, and the cod should be served a little warmer. We'll be back.

A sure thing! Yesterday I celebrated my 50th birthday and chose this restaurant, already known for its quality food. There were 12 of us, and we were served attentively and promptly by the friendly and professional Alessandro. The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the cake prepared by their pastry shop. Congratulations and thank you for not disappointing my expectations!

Typical Milanese cuisine with a touch of other dishes. Lunch for a family of three. "Ghiottone appetizer" and a good cheese platter. Personally, I was impressed by the "Parmesan mousse on soft Storo polenta and buttered bread crostini" and the "Risotto alla Milanese with ossobuco." Also noteworthy are the "Carnaroli rice with chestnut cream, Colonnata lard..." and the Irish beef fillet. The desserts are top-notch, prepared by a pastry chef in a facility adjacent to the restaurant. I think the price is appropriate for the dishes offered. The wine cellar is more than adequate. Excellent service. Would I return and recommend it? Absolutely.
