Informal and VERY free-range environment in a true and authentic old neighborhood trattoria. Good food, excellent prices, easy but flawless service. In front of the lit fireplace it is a little warm, although suggestive.

Abbiamo prenotato x una cena veloce pre teatro. Pochi piatti semplici e molto buoni. Abbiamo fatto scorpacciata di porcini e carciofi!! Servizio molto accurato e puntuale. Una menzione la metita l'oste Rossana : gentile sorridente e attenta.

Very nice place from the outside and nice inside.. good pasta, second fish course to forget.. a bit of a row in the kitchen between the cooks I think, continually calmed by the nice waitress. With little you can do better! Come on!

Small but pleasant atmosphere. I enter an environment still linked to Milan, a small tavern. I immediately found myself at ease. Angelo and Rossella, the owners of the Osteria del Generale, offered an explosion of welcome, this is very important to feel at home The food, I am fully satisfied, ova in salad, Risotto with ossobuco and porcini mushrooms Milanese style is my choice, I would say excellent.. Compliments !!!

Historic Milanese osteria in the Ortica district. I tried a chicory salad (divine!), scialatielli with porcini mushrooms and tiramisu. All very good. Welcoming and warm environment and staff, you feel at home. The fireplace makes everything even more beautiful.

E’ tempo di funghi !! Non perdete l’occasione, passate da Rossana per assaggiare i Porcini di stagione. Fatevi consigliare da Angelo e non sbaglierete.

31/05/2025: Very welcoming staff, excellent food and very beautiful location.
26/05/2025: We were with a couple of friends, we had a great time. From the quality of the food to the service of the waiters, and then a very quiet and carefully furnished environment. We ate a very good and soft picagna with a side of potatoes and rocket. Shrimp cocktail with vegetables 💯, spaghetti with cuttlefish sauce 💯 also very good and everything else that I remember and names.. and lastly the dessert mille foglie with ice cream and cream 💯. We will return even if we live in Monza it is worth the drive. We highly recommend the place. 🥂.

11/05/2025: Great place for a beer. Nice atmosphere, nice service. The atmosphere is like in an English pub. The appetizer board is huge and delicious :)
