First time here. Delicious food! A bit of a long wait. Friendly and helpful staff. Only downside: I read the menu online and discovered the dishes they serve were different. I recommend updating the website.

Good place, I noticed the service is a bit rushed, my review of the place is positive. But spending €120 for 4 pizzas, a beer, 3 bottles of water, and 3 coffees, I repeat, for a pizza seems excessive. I know you say because you went, I tried it, of course. I repeat, €30 per person for a pizza if I had to eat something else. I need to get a loan, we're not in Milan in the gallery, I'm on the lake, so you pay for the place where you're staying. It's not possible, sorry.

Make sure you have someone who speaks Italian with you. We got the message across with plenty of metaphors and Google Translate, but don't expect there to always be someone who speaks English, French, or German. The service was fast, the menu is Italian, and the customs are also typically Italian (which can differ from French-Belgian cuisine). The food is straightforward and delicious. The lobster pasta and the meat tagliati were particularly delicious. For around €50, two adults could have eaten generously—and exceptionally well!—so highly recommended.

Mi son fermato in questa osteria, perché vicina all’albergo dove soggiornavo e facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, e perché suggerita da un amico. La location al primo impatto mi è subito piaciuta, però all’ingresso la ricezione non è stata perfetta. Ero da solo, hanno storto un po’ il naso… ma poi mi hanno fatto accomodare. Ho scelto una lombata di manzo accompagnata da un contorno di verdure e da una brocca di vino. La carne era molto buona. Il personale di sala, invece, è stato molto cortese. Comunque ci ritornerei.

A well-kept and well-known osteria. It is best to book if you want to secure a table. There was a misunderstanding about the order of a dish and we really appreciated that it was quickly replaced. We ate well. The price is slightly high for the type of experience but not excessively so.

Friendly staff, they advise you on the dishes to consume and explain the raw materials. I had a great time, I will return to dine at l'oro.

Excellent lunch based on asparagus, fast service, courtesy of the girls in the dining room excellent and professional. Clean and tidy place. During our Uber ride to pick up our rental car we asked the driver for his favourite restaurant. Osteria del Gatto was the first on his list. He said they made the best pizza in the world. The experience didn’t disappoint. Great food and wonderful people. Full of local life and culture.

Abbiamo cenato in questa osteria su consiglio dei proprietari del nostro b&b. Ci sono difficoltà di parcheggio, ma in qualche modo si trova. Dall'esterno non è invitante e anche entrando si ha l'impressione di un posto un po' dimesso anche se pieno di avventori. Purtroppo il tavolo dov'eravamo seduti noi era in un angolo vicino alla toilette e abbiamo sofferto abbastanza il freddo quando veniva aperta la porta per il bagno ed anche per l'umidità che emanava il muro in quei giorni di pioggia. L'arredo è un po' confusionario, fatto con mobilio di recupero e tanti tanti oggetti. Il signore che ci ha accompagnato al tavolo non ci ha offerto particolari cure, in compenso la cameriera è stata una fuori classe: simpatica, sveglia, gentile, carinissima. Il motivo per cui vale assolutamente la pena cenare in questo locale è il cibo. Si mangia benissimo, sia con gli occhi che con il palato. La bellezza dei piatti cozza un po' con l'ambiente e quasi dispiace rovinare il piatto. Appena si assaggia la prima forchettata si sente un'esplosione di sapori in bocca. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo.
