If you are traveling in northern Italy, you should definitely visit this Osteria. One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten (with porcini mushrooms and truffles) from the stone oven. We ate there twice - once at the start of our Italy road trip and now at the end on the way home. Highly recommended!

Osteria only because Mr. Mauro is a real innkeeper, of a kind that no longer exists: very attentive to the quality of what is cooked, served on plates and poured into glasses. Eating at the cat's tavern is always a happy experience, because it has a lot to do with truth and beauty.
