Typical Veronese dishes of all kinds, from pastisada de caval to bigoli with donkey ragù, and more! Great prices. I had the snails with polenta...they're truly a delicacy here, and I've never had them this good anywhere! :-) Well done!!! The staff are incredibly friendly, it's always a pleasure to come back here! :-)

I've been to this restaurant twice, and both times I've been delighted by the Veronese cuisine at this small osteria in the heart of the city! Excellent traditional dishes (I recommend the pastisada with polenta and the foal meatballs), excellent service, and a truly charming location! I'll gladly return.

Old-fashioned tavern... a warm and welcoming place!!
TOP food!! The cod, pasta and beans, and polenta were all delicious and the portions were just right!!
EXCELLENT service.
It was our daughter's birthday and they gave her a cake with candles. We really appreciated the gesture!!
The only "flaw" is that the bathroom could use a makeover! ;-)

I had lunch here with my husband for Valentine's Day and it was a wonderful experience. The meal was truly excellent, from start to finish.
I chose the bigoli with donkey ragù, and even though I hardly ever eat pasta, I must say I was won over: flavorful and perfectly prepared.
For my second course, I had the sautéed snails with mashed potatoes instead of polenta, a change I requested and was kindly granted. The staff was very helpful and attentive.
To accompany it, I recommend a good Barolo.
