Wait before jumping on the tiramisu. First go through the Pappardelle al ragu box with a good bottle of Bell’aja. The candles make the setting warm. An unpretentious institution that has everything to leave you pleasantly surprised.

Incredible yet again. Never disappoints! The best bistecca fiorentina. Great sear on it and the drizzle of EVOO and flaky salt on top absolutely takes it over the moon. All at a very great price too in comparison to many other places. The house wine was delicious again as well. And the desserts are right there too - we got the mixed desert plate with tiramisu, cake of the day (almond cake) and profiteroles. Tiramisu and almond cake were out of this world. This place is a must every time we come to Firenze. Fantastic staff as well - very welcoming and friendly from start to finish. Can’t wait to go back!

Place was packed and we had no reservation but host Massimo greeted us like old friends, asked us to wait and gave us two Prosecco’s :)
Menu, preparation, staff were top shelf. Had half liter of house Chianti, Ravioli with Butter & Sage; Roasted Baby Pig with roasted potatoes; Meatballs in tomato sauce along with Biscotti with Vin Santo. Amazing!!! Authentic and we will be back many times :)

I made a reservation at Osteria Cinghale Bianco without knowing its ties to Stanley Tucci or his show,, but based on recommendations from an online forum about Florence. It specializes in serving wild boar, a Florentine specialty. The food was delicious. I would happily dine there again. Make reservations.

Do not expect a gourmet food.
We tasted the local high lights: crostini, papardelle and pepiso.
Food is well prepared, but simple.
I can not describe it as delicious.
On my taste they put too much salt. But bread in the basket was saltless according to the local tradition.
Bottle vine prices are expensive.
Service is polite and efficient. Service was done as we ordered in all small details we mentioned.

We had an excellent dinner here! We were lucky to make reservations because I called on the same day. Service was prompt and prices seemed reasonable. The food was so good. I had steak with a chianti sauce and a tomato bread salad. It was the best steak and the sauce was to die for...steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Husband had gnocchi which were like pillows they were so tender. I had a wonderful glass of red wine too. The restaurant is small inside but it seems to move the customers quickly. This is a must and if we were going to stay another day we would have eaten here again.

This was our third visit having been twice on a previous visit to Florence. Definitely recommend booking a table as the restaurant is popular and having an earlier booking time to on previous visits we found the food still delicious but the service slightly more rushed than previously. Highly recommend a visit.
