A wonderful surprise, tucked away on a side street off Via Appia Nuova. The space isn't particularly large, but it's elegant and warm, with soft background music. Interesting culinary offerings, excellent value, and attentive, pleasant service. One of those places that instantly makes you want to return as soon as possible!

I visited Osteria del Cavaliere in Rome and was truly satisfied. I ate exceptional pork ribs, incredibly tender, well-cooked, and flavorful, with meat that fell off the bone and a balanced seasoning that didn't overpower the flavor of the ingredients. You can taste the cuisine of the old-fashioned osterias, prepared with care and without frills. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, typically Roman, where you immediately feel at home. The service was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. I also found the quality/price ratio to be more than fair. A place you'll gladly return to if you want good, authentic food. Recommended.

17/03/2026: Wonderful location on Tiber Island. Unfortunately, there's no coffee in the afternoon. Everything else is great.
15/03/2026: We only stopped by for a drink because we were just passing through the island, but Emiliano and Arina were incredibly kind and friendly. They were so welcoming that they treated us like old friends. A great atmosphere and music made for a pleasant time.
