Small place, tables very close together, with little passage, dishes: spaghetti with tomato and basil (€14), pasta al dente and quality, no sauce, for the price the tomato must be fresh made on the spot, veal with tuna sauce very good, we asked for a roast with potatoes, a braised meat arrived for some unknown reason, panna cotta ok. The prices are not worth the quality of the product.

Everything was very good. I was alone and unfortunately didn't have a reservation. The team around the chef de service was very accommodating and booked me a table. The food was delicious, the wine was good, and the service was excellent. I'd gladly return.

Antica Hosteria del Vino Buono

09/08/2025: Ottimo ristorantino a Bergamo alta, nella piazza in cui arriva la funicolare. L'ambiente è rustico ma molto curato, con tavoli di legno e pareti in pietra. L'arredamento è tipico ma ricercato. Il personale davvero cortese vi farà sentire a casa e vi illustrerà tutti i piatti, anche perché la maggior parte ha nomi locali e dunque serve una "traduzione".Il riso cotto nel vino tipico locale Valcalepio, ad esempio, è una squisitezza. Da leccarsi i baffi anche i casoncelli con carne e pancetta. Da provare la polenta taragna (ovvero con il formaggio). Impossibile non accompagnare il tutto con un buon vino.
