Very very nice place, excellent kind and friendly service, spectacular dishes, if you are in the area, definitely worth stopping in but also going there on purpose.

The location inside the castle is fabulous. We were lucky enough to dine outside in front of the castle arch. Everything beautiful. The dishes are also well made and the raw materials are of high quality. Recommended if you pass through those parts.

You can't go to Castrocaro and not eat here.

Locale molto caratteristico e tranquillo con staff molto simpatico e cordiale. I piatti proposti dalla Chef sono molto ricercati e buonissimi...difficile trovarne di simili ad un prezzo onesto. Ritorneremo sicuramente per assaggiare altre prelibatezze.

Every time we return to Castrocaro, we "Always" return to the Osteria del Castello, and it is the "Third Time" 😍 Every time it is an EXPLOSION of Culinary FLAVORS and MANUAL COMBINATIONS!! Congratulations to the "COOK" and her research Miticolisa, of the Raw Materials and to the Waiter, who is Friendly and Professional!! And congratulations to the owners, for managing this characteristic place in an excellent way. "Until next time we go up", FOR SURE!! 😉

Mangiato ottimamente. Il tagliere molto buono, arricchito da una notevole quantità di gnocco fritto. Ottimo. La carbonara con carciofi e timo assolutamente da raccomandare. La chef molto gentilmente ci ha offerto un assaggio, che assaggio non era, di zuppa inglese. Buonissima. Inoltre la persona che ci ha servito molto gentile ed educata. Per chi passa per Castrocaro Terme assolutamente da provare.

We ate here while on holiday in Castrocaro Terme. We highly recommend the restaurant, the food was fresh quality, innovative, and definitely great! We had two starters, two first courses and some wine. The meat was definitely excellent. Prices are normal for such a picturesque experience.

Excellent location: inside part of a medieval castle. Excellent service with a choice of menu with a few dishes of typical local cuisine but cooked quite well with correct pairing of foods. Cleaning of the premises and correct cutlery without any disappointment. I think it's a place that cares about its customers. Really good. I highly recommend it.
