Excellent appetizers, first course with homemade pasta, cardoncelli mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, superb. They really deserve the compliments. We warmly recommend if you pass by Ceglie. THE STARTER IS WORTH IT ALL We went here as a family for Easter Monday lunch and it must be said: what a lunch! The appetizer alone is worth the whole experience, both for abundance and flavor. We are talking about an almost infinite series of courses with typical preparations of local cuisine with an authentic and unmistakable taste. From strong ricotta to meatballs, to fried foods and mussels au gratin, simple but one leads to another. It's a bit of a shame for the first courses, not bad on the base, but all overcooked and the seasonings are a little loose and very garlicky, otherwise we would be on a 5 star rating. But the service was impeccable. Courtesy, great availability and speed in serving dishes, however all freshly prepared with a full room. The environment is small, but very typical and welcoming. Prices absolutely more than fair.

Fantastic....beautiful heart of Ceglie, 2 steps from the historic centre, Osteria del Chapter offers authentic homemade cuisine...Christmas lunch with 10 starters all at 0 km and strictly homemade, 2 excellent first courses and very good roasted meat.. ..5 star wine... the place is small but welcoming and the service is excellent with 2 very kind young waiters. Moderate price... really worth trying.
