I returned to this restaurant because I had pleasant memories of the service and food. I confirm the goodness of the dishes and the extreme kindness of the family members who run the place. The wine list is good, both local and non-local. There are numerous proposals for digestives and bitters, which are very good. The off-menu dishes were the porcini mushroom salad and the fried porcini mushrooms, obviously very fragrant and Italian. Worthy of note is the tiramisu, really good. Regarding the veal with tuna sauce, a little sauce would have been to my liking, but it's a personal taste. The aubergine parmigianina is excellent and the borage gnocchi are delicious. Overall, very positive opinion. A confirmation, the food, wines and service are always good.

Tried 2 first courses and a second course The dishes are particular and well cared for, cooked in an excellent manner. Too bad only for the dessert, 3 types of ice cream, which I didn't find up to par with the other dishes. Highly recommended, a great place to treat yourself well and leave happy

A very rustic location full of vintage photos where you can savor the true historicity of this area. Menu rich in local ingredients and studied in a modern key, both in the concept of plating and in the pairing of flavours: from this point of view it surprised me positively, as the style of the cuisine is very close to the concept of haute cuisine, rather what you can expect from an ancient tavern. For my dinner I had the risotto with pumpkin, sheep's San Carlone and drops of liquorice as the first course. As a second course I chose the pepper flan, while for dessert I opted for the two chocolate mordido with lemon custard. All truly captivating from a visual point of view, excellent on the palate but above all well done in terms of the balance of flavours. Friendly and well-groomed service. Account in line with the proposal offered and which perfectly reflects the quality of the raw materials.

In the center of the small town of Torrazza Coste there is this tavern reported in numerous food and wine guides and so I decided, intrigued, to try it. As soon as you enter the entrance you immerse yourself in the typical atmosphere of an old tavern from the early twentieth century with period paintings and images. But let's get to the strong point: The expectations of the menu were widely respected! First I had the green tagliolini with black-eyed peas and salami paste from "il Tizzo", a company a few hundred meters from the tavern. Very balanced dish, just to my taste, slightly under-creamed but these are details.. Then a duck breast with Slow Food presidium Savona chinotto and mustard sauce. Really excellent both in flavor and cooking. For dessert, a tiramisu with homemade ladyfingers and mascarpone by Angelo Carena. Surprising! Perhaps the best tiramisu I've eaten. The friendly service makes this osteria a stop not to be missed if you are in the area and I will certainly return to try other dishes.

We are on our third visit to this excellent tavern. Friendly and competent owner. Excellent risotto and steak. Fire butt also very good.

Absolutely great, alternative menu, we liked not having found the usual dishes that you can eat anywhere and being able to try something new and local. The service was impeccable, the waitress who served us was truly magnificent; From professionals in the sector, an extra point for the explanation of the dishes, again done when the dish is served to the customer, not to be underestimated, much appreciated, as it is often not done. We will definitely be back
