We dined here in November 2025 and were greeted with great warmth. The menu offered a beautiful selection of dishes, which were described to us by the owner and chef. Her husband expertly assisted us with the wine selection, thanks to a truly excellent wine list. For appetizers, we enjoyed raw meat and poached egg with fondue, both accompanied by extraordinary truffles sourced directly from the region. For first courses, we chose pasta with ragù and pumpkin gnocchi. The portions were very generous. For the fourth course, we were served liver in Moscato. The owner places great importance on regionality and the quality of the products. The truffle was by far the best we tasted in Alba in 2025. The cuisine was excellent, and the service was very friendly and personal; we found the restaurant extremely welcoming. We highly recommend "Il Brutto Anatroccolo" and can't wait to return! We discovered Osteria del Brutto Anatroccolo, a true haven of happiness. Delicious food and a unique atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

UNIQUE AND INIMITABLE RESTAURANT! Second time at this restaurant: 2021 and 2025. Despite more than four years having passed, this place hasn't disappointed. Excellent food, exquisite staff, excellent location. We'll be back. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful place, recommended by our host. Such a warm welcome by the chef with a detailed „walk“ through the menu, she prepared everything fresh on the day. You can taste the love for cooking in every bite. The chef’s husband produces a Merlot himself on the neighbouring hills - outstanding quality, we are taking a box with us. I highly recommended to pay this place a visit! This is the way you want to experience food and hospitality.
