We had the pleasure of having lunch at the Osteria del Borgo di Carrù and the experience was truly excellent. The absolute protagonist of the evening was the Piedmontese mixed boiled meat, served with a wide selection of traditional sauces, perfectly executed and with an authentic flavour. The appetizers confirmed the quality of the cuisine, with carefully prepared and richly flavored dishes. The dessert, equal to the rest of the menu, concluded the dinner in the best way. To accompany the meal, we chose a bottle of Barbera di Ratti, which proved to be a perfect choice, enhancing each course. The service was impeccable, with very kind and attentive staff, who helped make the experience even more pleasant. All at an absolutely fair price, considering the quality of the raw materials and the attention to detail. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to taste true Piedmontese cuisine in a welcoming and authentic environment!

A pranzo domenica eravamo 16 amici. Serviti con massima gentilezza e disponibilità. Menù super ottimo. Abbiamo scelto tutti un antipasto e/o un primo e a seguire bollito a volontà con le salse di rito. Super tris di dolci a seguire. Ottimo vino sia bianco che rosso e che dire del magnum di vin santo di Albola finito in allegria! Grazie Daniele, grazie Paolo e tutto lo staff. Ad majora semper. A presto!!

There is little to say, the place is very nice, the service is up to par and the food is delicious. We finally managed to book after a long time and we were satisfied. The reviews spoke well of it and it met our expectations. The boiled meat is delicious and the grilled steak was also very good. The staff is very kind and quick in service, they also explain the various dishes. The place is very nice and relaxing to have a good lunch or dinner. Compliments!!! We moved from Turin only and exclusively to eat boiled meat. expectations were high but I must say that the result was excellent. The traditional Piedmontese dish served on a trolley directly near the table was accompanied by two side dishes and then obviously by the seven sauces. The starters were also excellent, we specifically tried both the joke and the salted meat. The dessert was a real pleasure, hazelnut cake and hot eggnog.. a truly excellent experience.. I recommend it. I will gladly return

Un grande passo falso in quello che è, e rimane, forse il migliore di Carru’. E proprio nel pranzo delle 6 di mattina del giovedì della Fiera. Cominciamo dalla sistemazione: una tensostruttura da 140 posti annessa al ristorante, freddissima e dai posti veramente “incollati”. Poi, altra nota dolente, l’esiguità del personale in rapporto ai commensali per non parlare del momento “top”, la distribuzione del bollito, impiattato da un unico carrello e servito, un piatto alla volta, da tre camerieri con dilatazione dei tempi enorme. Infine, la scomparsa del cotechino, sostituito da un salamino cotto che sfigurava tranquillamente accanto all’ottimo trio muscolo, testina, lingua. Per noi, clienti da tempo sempre incredibilmente soddisfatti nelle visite private, una sorpresa irritante ma tollerabile. Per il turista da “prima volta” una pessima esperienza che gli lascia un ricordo orribile.
