Excellent Osteria in old Cesano. Selected, quality raw materials. Family and welcoming environment. Fast and attentive service. With a large group of friends we ate starting from the appetizer with Lazio flavors, first course and mixed grill... all exceptional. Excellent price.

It immediately became one of my favorite places! Very nice location, nice cellar and wine list, excellent and plentiful food. Normal prices and expert service. The guys were very polite and kind. If I really had to find some flaw I would say pity about the bread which was a bit cold and hard; I would also have appreciated an explanation of the cured meats and cheeses on the platter, as well as a suggestion on the tasting order recommended by the chef. But otherwise everything was perfect! We will definitely be back

Osteria del Borgo Cesano. We had dinner in this Osteria, eating very well and enjoying a relaxing and very pleasant atmosphere.

Rustic and welcoming atmosphere, very helpful staff, flawless dishes. In fact, I would especially recommend the cacio, pepe e tartufo... the best I've ever tried.

Truly beautiful experience, excellent food and excellent service

The village tavern has great potential thanks to its excellent cuisine. However, a significant improvement in service is needed to ensure a pleasant customer experience. If the staff became more friendly and attentive, this place could easily get a five star rating. It's a shame that the first courses I tasted were excessively salty, excellent starters and meat-based second courses, a vast selection of wines.

I see new people serving tables and also at the cash register, perhaps they have changed management. But the food is good and so is the service. I would return to try it again.

The Osteria del Borgo in Cesano is for those seeking Roman and Lazio tradition far from the chaos of the capital. This welcoming and characteristic restaurant offers authentic Roman cuisine, but with touches of creativity that make it even more interesting. From the classic tonnarelli cacio e pepe to revisited dishes such as the tonnarello cacio e pepe with truffle, really good, enriched by an intense and refined flavour. Also not to be missed is the mixed starter (as in the photo) perfect for sharing and savoring the typical flavors of the region in a single course. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the flavors and furnishings are typical of a local tavern that has well preserved the ancient traditions.

Abbiamo cenato in questa osteria che in realtà per cura dell'ambiente e per proposta gastronomica è un vero ristorante. Non era la prima volta ma è una conferma di un ristorante di ottimo livello. L'ambiente è molto informale ma è semplicemente stupendo: una vecchia casa, arredata in tema e con grande gusto. Le proposte sono di livello: piatti della tradizione, leggermente rivisitati e con una grande cura per le materie prime: basta del resto guardare il menù per vedere l'attenzione nell'indicare da dove viene e che tipo di pasta ti serviranno. Mi ha sorpreso anche il semplice tagliere salumi e formaggi .. di ottimo livello e con proposte particolari ( suggerimento ai proprietari: informate lo staff su come è composto perchè presentare un tagliere spiegandolo , specie se dentro ci sono prodotti di qualità e presidi slow food me lo fa "mangiare 2 volte") . Ottima ed ampia la proposta dei vini e direi anche ottima la proposta di ameri e distillati: tutti di ottimo livello. I piatti sono abbondanti senza essere strabordanti da camionista, molto ben conditi e con " un senso" , una filosofia precisa: tradizione al top con piccoli aggiustamenti a migliorare il piatto. Insomma... una bellissima cena ed un ristorante osteria consigliatissimo .
