A pleasant discovery. Fresh homemade pasta, as well as the excellent and unique giardiniera with seasonal vegetables. The duck ragù is top-notch. For an appetizer and two first courses, the bill is a bit above average. The quality ingredients certainly make a difference. We'll definitely be back to enjoy other excellent dishes. My guidebook recommended this restaurant, located between Rocca di Angera and Santa Caterina del Sasso, and we had lunch here today. We were the only guests. The food was absolutely delicious. Molto bene. We felt very comfortable. The desserts are also highly recommended.

At Osteria del Lago, you truly feel at home.
The owners are extremely hospitable: they come to the tables, stop to chat, and professionally explain each wine, describing its characteristics and unique features.
The polenta with cod was simply wonderful.

We had brasato con funghi e polenta and tagliata di Fassona with mashed potatoes and pepperoni. It was delicious, home-style cooking and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was very attentive and friendly. Everything was perfect for us! It's excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back.

It looked rather unassuming from the outside, but the menu was very straightforward. However, it more than exceeded our expectations. We were served very nicely, and the food was truly excellent!

We've rarely eaten so well. Delicious seafood dishes (and more) are creative, beautiful to look at, locally sourced, and original. The quart of local wine is also excellent. A bit pricey, but it's an experience if you're passing through. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We noticed that the dishes delivered to other tables also looked great. I highly recommend it.

We had hamburgers, the dish itself was good but really too little. A steak between 2 pieces of Arabic bread, 1 salad leaf and 1 tomato slice for 12€ no side dish and let's not forget the 2.50€ service charge per person. With dessert and drink it cost 98€ for 4 people. The staff is friendly.
