A traditional restaurant in the historic center of Gubbio. We had a great time; I recommend the Antipasto del Re, with its many traditional delicacies. Generous portions, as we've found at various restaurants in the area. Friendly staff. The cod is only available on Fridays. A little dry, but the breading is excellent. The roast beef and crescia are also good. Excellent value.

A truly excellent restaurant. The Piatto del Re is fabulous: generous, perfect as a main course. We then tried the Brustengo del Re, which was very good, and the tagliata with pecorino cream and green peppercorns, unique and truly delicious. The desserts were also excellent.
Fast service; if you're in a hurry, you can leave in an hour.
