An average osteria. Nothing special. We waited 40 minutes for four crostini and another 20 for two first courses, both of which were decent. This is considering the small space, the lack of staff, and the kitchen with four burners. There couldn't have been any different expectations.

I arrived way too late, but was still warmly welcomed, even though I was alone. The food was delicious – meat with mushrooms, bread, wine, and water… much cheaper than I expected, and just a 5-minute walk from the tower. What can I say… I'll show you ⬇️

Beautiful food, wonderful atmosphere, reasonably priced compared to what we're used to. Much nicer than the restaurants workers try to beg you into I think. Had a bit of trouble getting attention to get the bill but that's probably because I don't speak any Italian

We ate very well. I should point out that we don't eat meat, so the selection is limited. For example, we couldn't order a main course because there was only meat. But everything we ordered (soup, ravioli, and grilled vegetables) was very good.
Quiet and intimate atmosphere.
A bit pricey.

The trattoria is located just off the "tourist" route of Pisa on a quiet street that leads straight to the Normale, allowing you to eat in peace.
The menu offers typical Tuscan dishes. The food is excellent, and the wines are also very good. We were served by the owner, who is a very kind person.
We tried it on the first night but then returned every other night during our stay in Pisa.
Of course, the prices are a bit higher than many "tourist" restaurants nearby, but if you want to eat well, you have to be willing to pay a fair price for quality. And in any case, the prices are fair and not at all excessive.
Highly recommended.
