Great restaurant! My friends and I received a very warm welcome from the very friendly restaurant staff! The dishes were delicious, especially the beef and pasta fritta starters we tried. The wine was also very good, and we received good recommendations. I will definitely return if I'm ever in Pisa again.

A stone's throw from Piazza dei Cavalieri, this tavern offers typical food of the highest quality at very competitive prices! The staff is very friendly and helpful! If you happen to be in Pisa, it's an obligatory stop!

Locale molto caratteristico, la titolare è la sua collaboratrice sono molto cortesi e professionali, guida Michelin dal 2007 ( non conosco bene i criteri per essere presenti su tale guida, ma se da più di 18 anni ci sono un motivo ci sarà!) mangiato egregiamente con prodotti di qualità, persino la Malvasia autoctona molto valida, prezzo giusto anche per la quantità del cibo. Ho promesso alla titolare che dovessi ritornare sicuramente sarà la mia prima tappa. Che dire da provare per forza !!!!

Fairly high quality food but very small portions and high price. I ate reasonably well but I wouldn't recommend it! Friendly staff but fewer than the number of people hosted, therefore long waits.

We popped in for a late lunch/early dinner and managed to get a table for two. We were welcomed like old friends and the food was excellent, true Italian food and hospitality. I think we were the only tourists in amongst the locals and loved the atmosphere. Our host recommended the wines to go with our food and both were fantastic. Forget the tower, I would come to Pisa just for this experience again.

Siamo entrati in questa osteria, a pochi metri da Piazza dei Cavalieri, per una sosta pranzo durante una visita alla città di Pisa. L'ambiente è confortevole con tavoli in legno, il servizio è stato rapido e gentile, il menù è ispirato, logicamente, alla tradizione toscana. Noi abbiamo preso: 1 pasta fritta con prosciutto (per chi non lo conoscesse è parente del gnocco fritto) 1 ribollita 1 crema di zucca 1/2 vino rosso della casa (Chianti) 1 acqua minerale 1 caffè 1 limoncello Totale: 60 Euro Nel complesso, una buona sosta che consigliamo. Provato: lunedì 23 dicembre 2024 a pranzo

The dishes surprise with their originality and intensity of flavours: the ciccia in bigoncia (served as a gluten-free starter) is tasty and authentic, the rigatoni with duck ragù is delicious and well-balanced, while the pork cheek and the rosticciana (both enjoyed by a celiac person) confirm great attention to gluten-free cooking, without sacrificing flavour. Closing on a sweet note with a typical dessert of the city, truly impeccable. Not to be missed if you want to say you have eaten real Tuscan cuisine.
